A fantastic, beautifully appointed top floor, three bedroom penthouse apartment in the new Sapphire Beach gated security condo development on Dover Beach, walking distance to the famous St Lawrence Gap.
This apartment is fully air-conditioned and has ceiling fans throughout. The kitchen is modern and well equipped and even has a view of the sea. The spacious living area has a flat screen cable TV and sound system and this room opens straight on to the dining patio and the fabulous views of the beach and sea.

We stayed in penthouse at Sapphire Beach last year and returned again this year, booking both units through Carolyn O'Dell. Carolyn is a delight to work with. She is extremely responsive and helps plan all details for a flawless vacation. The units at Sapphire Beach are beautifully appointed, and those that we saw were decorated tastefully. We traveled with 2 other families, all staying at Sapphir Beach, and each unit had its own style, so best to view the photos to select one suited to your tastes. Every unit is Beachfront, with a spacious balcony offering beautiful views. Rent chairs and umbrellas from Kenny on the beach. We paid him up front for our entire 11 day stay, and he was certain to have our spots set out every morning, ready and waiting without fail. Security gates, guard, and locked access to communal areas & beach are all a plus. Pools never crowded, and guests always respectful at night in pool. Would highly recommend Sapphire Beach, and definitely pleased with Carolyn's service. Providing transport from airport to unit is very much appreciated. All in all, a perfect experience.

From the moment we arrived in Barbados, everything was taken care of without a hitch. Our transport (arranged through Carolyn) was waiting at the airport. The beautifully decorated apartment was spotless and ready for us with all the comforts of home. We were fully informed by anita about the amenities at and near Sapphire Beach. When we had a couple of questions which she responded to immediately. Everything we needed was in easy walking distance including shops and restaurants (very good). In the general area there is something for everyone - beautiful beach, lots of entertainment/night life, variety of food options. This truly a great way to vacation.

The unit was exactly as described: Impeccably decorated, extremely clean, and had the most gorgeous ocean views from the penthouse terraces. Step out of your back door and you are on the beach! We enjoyed the brand new gym as well. We were within walking distance to the St. Lawrence Gap but not so close that it was right on top of you. Go there for great restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. You can also walk to markets right down the street. The beach in front of the unit is one of the best beaches on the entire island. Calm water with some waves and a sandy bottom. The maid service was excellent as was the service and helpful advice we received from Carolyn, our rental agent. She was able to quickly answer all of our many questions. We did not rent a car as it easy to navigate the island through the public bus system, which is extremely cheap! The Barbados people are the friendliest of the many Caribbeans we have met and we highly recommend both Sapphire Beach and Barbados for your next vacation!

We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday in Barbados. We were fortunuate enough to find Sapphire Beach #509 and Carolyn O'Dell. The accomodations were even better than the photographs. The condo is very clean, and the view is beautiful. Carolyn delivered everything she promised and more. The Bajans are wonderful people and Barbados is spectacular. We were fortunate enough to get to swim with the turtles - don't miss that opportunity to do the same. And, if you find the time (and the money) be sure to go to the Cliff's for Dinner and visit Oistin's on Friday night. You cannot go wrong at Sapphire Beach or using Carolyn O'Dell to arrange your trip. P.S. The maid was wonderful!!

Carolyn odell was very helpful and informative. All the info and expectations were fulfilled. The owners of Sapphire Beach 505 have class. Not only was the condo spotless, it came equipped with items such as coffee filters! Doesn't sound like much...wine and rum cakes with a nice hello and well wishes for a good time to top it off! It was well worth it. It was living at home with all the comforts, therefore we treated the condo like it was ours. I guess in life you get what you put into it. I definitely will be returning. I thank Carolyn, 505 and housekeeping for a memerable visit.
