Fantastic weekend house in the country

Left on 06/21/2010 for a stay in June 2010

The farmhouse & barn was perfect for our group of 10 friends looking to get out of the city for the weekend. The setup was ideal, as all [but one] of the bedrooms are in the farmhouse, while the pool-house/barn was completely separate. Thus, those that preferred to stay up later [for some nightswimming, perhaps] were able to do so, while others could retire back to the farmhouse.

The quality of the two buildings was absolutely fantastic. They were both very clean & quite luxurious. Each room [bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, etc.] was in pristine condition, as we felt like we were staying in a 5-star hotel.

What made this property really stand out, however, was the outdoor grounds. The houses sit on 5-6 acres, which include a pool area [with a very nice grill built into the patio & a really refreshing outdoor shower], a zen garden, a fire pit for building campfires & a huge field, perfect for running around & playing sports. Although we did go into Philadelphia several times [less than an hour drive, 1.5 hour train ride], we could have easily entertained ourselves on the property the entire weekend.

The entire weekend was a very positive experience, & I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to rent this property.
