Description
Henseid Skole, vacation in a school !!! Going to school was never so much fun!
The Henseid Skole is a former elementary school built in the year 1951.
It lies in the small hamlet Henseid or Henneseid. This falls under the municipality
Drangedal in the county of Telemark. The Henseid Skole did the last service in
the year 2005, then it was empty and there was lack of maintenance. What was
in contrast with the beautiful surroundings of Henseid. In the spring of 2011, the
school opened its doors, completely renovated. But for tourists who are looking for
a special place for their well-deserved vacation. The school has old cozy atmosphere
of the Norwegian school.
The Henseid Skole has three large classrooms that serve as apartments. These rooms
are fully furnished and feature a seating area, a dining area, sleeping area and a kitchen.
The kitchen is equipped with fridge, oven / microwave, hob, kettle and coffeemaker.
The showers and toilets are located in the hallway, just like at school. The rooms can
be booked up to 6 people. These are equipped with a bunk bed and 2 bed. In short great
affordable apartments in a unique area of Norway. It is also possible to book a breakfast
basket during your stay in the Henseid Skole. The Henseid Skole-apartment guesthouse
is open all year round. A local-apartment for rent per night, weekend, midweek and week.

This property is occupied and run by a young family that is ge'migreerd Netherlands. In
the year 2011, the doors of the apartment / guesthouse opened for people looking for rest,
relaxation, or just holidays. The Henseid Skole apartment / guesthouse is located in the
former school of the hamlet Henseid, in the municipality Drangedal. Drangedal is a very
wooded area with many lakes in the county of Telemark. When you hire Henseid Skole
no room but a schoolroom, where the 'skole-style' as much as possible is preserved. You
imagine yourself in the feeling of his school. The atmosphere of the building ensures warmth
and coziness. Henseid located on the Provincialeweg 356 between Porsgrunn and Drangedal.
Here you will find the ideal environment for many activities such as exercise in the summer:
hiking, cycling and / or mountain biking, fishing and wildlife spotting.
And in the winter: skiing, cross county, ice fishing and wildlife spotting here.
In addition, Norway is fine and affordable to reach by car, motorcycle or airplane. Furthermore,
Norway has a good network of public transport in the region. Henseid Skole guests for a small
fee to use transfer from and to the airport in Oslo Torp Sandefjord.
