Mom and Daughters
Boise, IDWonderful Winter Gathering for the Gals!
Left on 11/26/2012 for a stay in November 2012
My daughters and I wanted to meet at a location that was convenient for all of us (Idaho, Utah, and Montana residents). We gathered at this cabin for Thanksgiving and had the perfect getaway! We loved the hot tub after a day of snowshoeing at Targhee and hiking in the Teton Canyon. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. We had a full Thanksgiving spread. The wood burning fireplace warms up the whole living area with just one log on the fire. The cabin is convenient to main roads but has a secluded feel. We brought extra blankets and pillows which made the living room seating more comfortable (just one couch and two rocking chairs). We would have preferred a cozy sofa and loveseat, but our numbers were small enough we were fine. My elderly mother didn't come and I think that is best because the only shower is a clawfoot tub that is not next to the wall. She wouldn't have been able to feel stable showering in that situation I think this is something for elderly visitors to consider. My girls loved it, though. Very charming! Everything we needed was provided. If cleanliness is a priority you've come to the right place. There was no dust, bugs, cobwebs, etc. Basically no sign that anyone had been there except an owner who takes pride in their property.

Thanks for your comments and enjoying our "hideaway" in the Tetons! Our seating area within the open floor plan is very small, therefore the furniture we have is appropriate for the limited space. We wish we could haver a large couch and loveseat! We do provide many extra blankets, comforters, and fleece cover ups for extra comfort. And, yes, the cabin is not handicapped equipped and the clawfoot tub and step down to living area would not be ideal for the elderly.

Ladera Ranch, CA3 fishermen
Left on 08/10/2012 for a stay in July 2012
I rented this cabin with two friends for a fishing trip. The cabin is beautifully decorated with one of a kind furniture. It's small, but very well organized and comfortable. The rocking chairs on the front porch are great for morning coffee. We were only there for a short stay and did not have a chance to enjoy the beautiful rear deck with barbecue and hot tub. Will have to save that for another trip!
Thanks Gayle for being such a great host! -

Westport, CTHeaven on Earth!
Left on 07/19/2012 for a stay in December 2010
You couldn't ask for a better spot from which to enjoy the Teton Valley area. The cabin is even more charming than the pictures indicate. The furniture is both beautiful and comfortable, and the artwork is stunning. The wood stove helped make everything even more cozy, and the hot tub was a special treat. Our family of 5 spent a week there in the wintertime, and thoroughly enjoyed both the terrific skiing at Grand Targhee and the nearby town of Driggs, which has some great restaurants and authentic Western appeal. The sleigh ride dinner at Targhee was lots of fun as well, but we were always glad to make our way back to the cabin for a game of Scrabble or a movie. There was a local property manager who made sure we had everything we needed, and even left us some eggs laid by his own chickens! All in all, it was the perfect setting for a truly special family vacation, and we'd love to go back - maybe in the summer this time!

ColoradoCozy, relaxing & spacious with lots of amenities. A great value
Left on 07/01/2012 for a stay in March 2012
Our family stayed here over spring break to be close to Targhee ski resort. We wanted a kitchen vs a hotel room and this house was a great value for the four of us. We were pleasantly surprised just how close this house was to the resort and how easy of a drive it was. This rental was so nice inside, with plenty of space for our family of four to spread out, including all our ski gear. Our favorite part of the house was the private hot tub! We also loved the kitchen and dining area as we could all visit, do puzzles or play games while preparing meals. The open floor plan is spacious and we had everything we needed for a relaxing, comfortable stay in Driggs. Also being close to a fantastic grocery store, the value of renting a cabin vs a hotel room really panned out. This cabin was easy to reserve, easy to rent, easy to enjoy and affordable/easy to pay. We highly recommend this rental property.

Layton, UTOne of the best!
Left on 06/04/2012 for a stay in July 2011
There was nothing we didn't love about our stay (excepting the weather... it rained a bit). The cabin is in such a perfect location, and has all the comforts a family could want while still maintaining a rustic mountain retreat.
I don't rate things 5 stars too often; I'm more than happy to rate this 5 stars plus!
We even saw a bear on one of our hikes. -

Eaton Rapids, MIRelaxing trip to the mountains
Left on 06/02/2012 for a stay in August 2011
We stayed at this home for a week in august 2011. Renting it was easy and everything came together just as promised. All the amenities were provided as promised. It was clean and there were no bad surprises. The hot tub was a big hit with my kids and it was great for relaxing after a day hiking in the Tetons. For the price of a condo, you get a home. Next time we are traveling to Driggs, we will stay here if it is available.

Need a Break from the Dynamism of City Life
Salt Lake/Los Angeles/ChicagoOutstanding Place to Stay
Left on 06/02/2012 for a stay in February 2011
This house is just a great place to stay. Besides being clean, it is wonderfully decorated and situated. Driggs is near the ski resorts in Jacksonhole and alta and it's near Yellowstone. It is not over populated (yet) and so this place is a perfect place to stay for a winter or summer break. It's nested in the trees with an outside patio to barbecue in the summer months and a great fireplace to sit near in the winter months. Its owners are an architect and a landscape and interior designer (they're worth contacting to redo your own home) and you can tell this in the accommodations. I almost hesitate to recommend this place as I love being there for hiking, biking, kayaking, skiing and just getting away from it all and I don't want it so booked that I can't return! Don't be surprised if a moose family wanders into the yard during your stay. They like it there too!
