Situated amidst mountains, forests and glens in an elevated situation ,this former croft house stands in a large enclosed garden in a lovely peaceful rural location 1/2 mile down a gated track from the Drumnadrochit to Beauly road. The house was virtually rebuilt and the renovation has created a very comfortable, warm and well-appointed home, whilst retaining much character with pine-lined ceilings and a stone feature wall round the stove in the living room. Booking was easy and ran smoothly with no problems.
The cottage was lovely. Very clean and tidy, and situated in a very quiet rural setting with sheep & lambs in the field next to the garden. The cottage is located within a working farm with some nice walks within the owners estate.
Local shops & post Office are only a couple of miles away in Drumnadrochit. Inverness is only 14 miles away.
Great base for touring the highlands. Glen affric & Plodda Falls are well worth a visit.

Peaceful.Lovely location and views. Beds and chairs very comfortable. Wood burning stove cosy. Shower and toilet a bit basic; no dishwasher; the little conservatory was in need of some attention and had fogged windows; but we enjoyed our 4 day stay.

Quiet, private location. Owners left us alone. A few things not available eg a jug and the grill didn't work. Bed linen etc clean.

A lovely cottage in a quiet location with gorgous views. Would benifit from different heating system as it was cold in the lounge after being out all day and took a long time to get warm.
We still had an excellent holiday. -

Relaxing, beautiful, quiet, comfortable, very clean and enjoyable. Close enough to amenities to not feel isolated. Although close to neighbours they were never seen or heard. If you like seclusion in a lovely location down a track but still with views then this is the place for you. Wood burner great. We will definately be staying here again.

reasonably priced accommodation but you only get what you pay for. A nice location, but the furniture was rather tired - particularly the dead suite. The bathroom off the lounge was awkward to use at times.

We stayed at the cottage for a total of 3 weeks and were sad to leave. We felt at home immediately.
The cottage is in a great location, remote but just 5 minutes from the a82.
The owners were friendly, even gave us some free range eggs. We didn't see much of them, which was fine as we had everything we needed.
The view from the house and garden is stunning. The garden is large and gets the sun.
The lounge is cosy with a wood burning stove and the kitchen is good, but a squeeze for 7 people eating together. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable.
