We booked in Jan 1-15th stay in September 09 with Holidays Shop LLC (www. Holidays-shop.com). Everything from booking and making pre-payment on-line to checking-in was excellent and very professional and I can highly recommend them. We were 2 families staying with two 4- and 5-yr old girls. We arrived late at night so we asked for a transfer from the airport. We were met at arrivals by their representative who helped us with the bags and took us to Al Fattan in their minivan. Next day it took me a little while to figure out parking gates/remotes/parking levels to park our rental car so I'd recommend that you either take a taxi or transfer unless you're there not the first time. You can take a rental car the next day as we did. When we arrived we were shown the appartment and how everything worked etc and found very good welcome pack with fruits, lots of bottled water, jam, bread, coffee, tea etc etc.
The appartment is very large and well furnished. It has fully equipped kitchen with large fridge, toaster, grill, gas/electic stove, double sink, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker etc. Lots of dishes, silverware, pans and all you need for cooking. Washing and drying machine, ironing board and iron are in a separate room. There is large living/dining area with seaview balcony, sat TV/DVD and music system, lots of sat channels. Guest toilet is at the entrance, three bathrooms - two with king beds, one with two single beds. All bedrooms have ensuite bathroom and master bedroom has separate shower. Do remember to switch water heating on in bathrooms and kitchen (switches are located next to light switches) as it takes few hours to heat up the water in bathrooms. The photos on holidays shop web site are what you see when you get there so no need for me to post our own – I'm posting photos of surrounding areas, beach etc. There is a wifi and ethernet internet connection in the apartment included in the rent.
