Welcome to Dublin Holiday Apartments. Our self catering apartments are in a prime location on Ormond Quay, right in the centre of Dublin city. These apartments are a short stroll from Temple Bar, O’Connell Street and grafton street.
This apartment sleeps 6 people comfortably. We have 2 bedrooms & one new pull out sofa bed. We have 3 apartments contained in a beautiful Georgian building. All apartments are fully equipped with all the amenities you would expect in your own home. Perfect for all types of breaks in Dublin at affordable rates. We have 2 one bedroom apartments and 2 two bedroom apartment in the same building.

We are located in the very centre of Dublin city, very close to Dublin’s shopping districts & tourist attractions.
Dublin is one of the most popular short break destinations in Europe, consistently featuring in all top 10 most visited cities rankings and renowned for being one of the friendliest capitals in Europe while maintainting a relaxed and intimate atmosphere. Dublin is an old city steeped in history and is safe, dynamic and welcoming. A wonderful place to visit with a compact city centre, about 3km squared. Fantastic in every way
Leah greeted us as scheduled and gave us a thorough walk through of the apt. We immediately felt at home as she gave us a local virw lay of the land (our first visit to Dublin) and she did it all with a great smile and personality.
The apartment itself was also top notch. Very clean, roomy (we had 6 in our party), and comfortable. The location couldn't have been better. Short walk to Temple Bar area and all of the pubs and shopping that you could ask for. Outside, taxis ran non stop (even at 4am when I needed to send my daughter back to Manchester)so transportation was never a problem.
I really can't say enough good things about our experience. I've already recommended the apt to a couple of friends. Brilliant as they say, just brilliant!

Our stay in the Liffey 2 apartment was the perfect way to settle in to Dublin as a family of four. The unit was spacious, clean and quiet. It is a walk up to the third floor/top floor. This was an advantage for us--it was bright under the skylights. Leah Kelly, the owner of the apartment was a dream to work with. We had a flawless experience and were greeted by a very friendly assistant with the keys at the arranged time of arrival. I recommend a stay in one of Leah Kelly's apartments.

This was a great location right in downtown Dublin. It was clean and spacious and we enjoyed our stay here. It's perfect for walking along the Liffey, hitting up all the major tourist destinations and going out in Temple Bar. It had a kitchen, two bedrooms with lots of sunroofs and a living area with a pull out couch as well as a blowdryer. It's perfect for the independent young travellers or families. I'd warn that there are a lot of flights of stairs up to the place so if you have a lot of luggage or a disability this is not the place for you. We didn't have extra sheets for our fifth friend who stayed on the couch but there were lots of extra blankets in the room so we were fine. Also, the shower didn't really drain but we didn't address any of this with the property team or I'm sure they could have fixed it. They were very accommodating with our check-in time as our flight was delayed. Overall a very positive experience!

Amazing holiday let!!
We stayed for 3 nights over New Year 2012/2013 and couldn't have picked anything better.
The location was fantastic, a minutes walk from Temple Bar.
Easy to find, with a lovely welcome from aga.
It was, clean, modern, had all the essentials, including bedding, towels, iron, and a hair dryer.
Leah's homemade bread was delicious, and the complimentary tea/coffe/sugar/butter/milk/jam was a nice touch.
Constant hot water and heating was available and you even get free wifi!

5 Star in all areas!! I was a little hesitant about staying in an apartment versus a hotel, but it turned out to be the best choice! The owners were very accommodating and helpful, even prior to arrival. Perfect directions from the airport! Nice, fluffy towels and always had hot water! Our only suggestion is to add a shower caddy/shelf to hold shower stuff intead of putting it on the floor. Otherwise, no complaints and highly recommended!

We stayed in two of the building's flats, #4 and #8, as we had seven people to accommodate. The flats are newly renovated, with beautiful wood floors and lovely appointments. #4 has wonderful high ceilings that make the apartment feel even more spacious, with a combination living/dining room, one bedroom, a railroad kitchen that's quite large and convenient, and a huge bathroom. This would be a perfect place for two people (or more, given that there's a sofa bed).
#8 is on the top floor and has skylights in almost every room. Each bedroom has a double bed and the living room has a pull-out sofa. The kitchen is small, but big enough for a table and chairs that comfortably sat five or six of us at once. This flat, too, is newly renovated and beautifully furnished (both apartments have flat screen tvs that we didn't even get a chance to watch, and both have free wireless internet).
#4 and #8 are both located in the back of the building, looking out over rooftops and toward a side street. This makes them very quiet and private. Next time, we might try a flat at the front of the building overlooking the Liffey, as the river is right outside the front door and very beautiful.
The apartments are located right across the river from Temple Bar. We walked there every day. There's a supermarket nearby and a farmer's market; the O'Connell Street buses to Dublin airport and to Belfast are also a five minute walk away. The On-Off Bus stops nearby. We can't imagine a better location from which to see Dublin City.
In addition, Leah Kelly was a wonderful host. She answered all our email queries instantly; was there to meet us at the door with our keys at 1:00 a.m. Dublin time, since our plane was cancelled and our travel plans changed; helped us carry our suitcases to the top floor; and otherwise was responsive, helpful, and welcoming.
We'll definitely stay there again on our next trip to Dublin. The price is reasonable, accommodations wonderful, location perfect.Response from Leah Kelly - 08/24/2012

If I was just rating the location and the apartment itself, I'd give it five stars, however, because of the difficulty of checking-in and having no communication or instructions inside the apartment about checking out, where to leave luggage, or how to use appliances without always having to call the owner, I have to give it four stars.
Most travelers cannot be completely exact about a check-in time because you're at the mercy of airlines and traffic, but when I called to say we'd be an hour and a half late, I was told this was not acceptable and there would be no one to greet us at our new arrival time and no way to get into the building. Not something you want to hear when you're tired, have a baby in the back seat, a car you need to return to an airport, and parents who have tickets to a play that evening. Anyhow, after about three phone calls, a solution was made, and it worked out fine to pick up the keys at a hotel, but the overall experience didn't feel very welcoming. I felt as if I was inconveniencing someone rather than giving them business.
Anyhow, the apartment was beautiful, well decorated, and clean. Great shower and heated floors in the bathroom, which was very unexpected! Also, there was a loaf of brown bread waiting for us in the kictchen and that was delicious. As we were in one of the back apartments, street noise was not a problem at all and we slept well.
Just make sure you have a fully charged cell phone with an international plan and to budget an extra 20 Euros on calls so you can arrange your check-in time if you can't meet exactly at the agreed time. You'll also need it to arrange a place to leave luggage, etc.Response from Leah Kelly - 08/12/2012

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about our apartments. I am very sorry that you felt that we did not offer you a good service for checking in. As we do not live in the apartment block we always ask guests to give us an approx. arrival time so that we can arrange to have someone meet you there. We had arrange to meet you at 2.30pm and when you called at 2.15pm to say your plans had changed I was not able to be there at 4pm but I did say that I could have someone meet you there at 4.30pm. I had been in the apartment block since 2pm just in case you had arrived early.
We also like to check guests in personally so that we can show guests where everything is and explain how the heating, shower etc work. I do undersand that giving a time is sometimes difficult but this is the first time we have had any difficulties.
We try and offer the best service we can with personal touches like, fresh milk, butter, jam and home made brown bread upon arrival.
Check out of the apartment is 11am, as with most self-catering and hotels.We do have a store room for luggage that is available to all of our guests. We offer early check-ins and late check-outs to all of our guests where possible. We also gave you a late check-out of the apartment so that you did not need to store your luggage anywhere.
I feel we tried to accommodate you in every way possible, from check-in to check-out and I am sorry that you felt that this was not the case. We have had many happy guests and I hope that this will continue. -

This great apartment is perfectly located to see all the sights in Dublin. It's a very short walk home from temple bar, but away from the noise (which was perfect for us). Leah & Niall were wonderful - responsive on email, accomodating and friendly. We'd stay here again for sure!

Lovely warm welcome Thank you and an unexpected upgrade to this apartment from a smaller one we had booked which was a bonus for us. Spacious clean apartment at the top of the apartment building so little street noise. Stairs not a lift.
