Location excellent, very close to Temple bar and a shopping centre.
You see the river through all your windows!
The apartment is really fully equipped and the owners are very nice and helpful.
The apartment has a great living room and two sofas.
Maybe there could be a bigger table and some shelves in the bathroom (without window), but I liked it very much!
Thank you Leah -

Apartment was clean and updated. Leah greeted us, helped us with scheduling taxi to airport at the end of our stay, and provided some starter supplies such as milk, coffee and bread. Had three adults and the size of the apartment was perfect to allow everyone space. Location was great as we were within walking distance of pretty much everything. Noise was not too bad given we were steps from a busy street.

Lovely bright apartment with great views of the river from all rooms. It was immaculate and the beds were fantastically comfy! I stayed here for a girls weekend away and cannot recommend it enough. There wasn't an issue with the apartment being noisy as the windows in the two bedrooms had been fitted with secondary glazing. The owner, Leah, couldn't have been more helpful, especially when we found out our ferry home had been delayed! We will definitely be staying here again next time we visit Dublin.

all was perfect. The only remark I can make is about the noise. Very near for temple bar (positive point) but not very well unsonorised.
Excepted that minor point, we were very happy to stay here.Response from Leah Kelly - 03/20/2013

Left on 11/13/2012 for a stay in November 2012
I live in Dublin but cannot accommodate visitors in my tiny apartment so chose to stay here when 5 friends came into town. The apartment was well-sized, clean and comfortable, with all the necessary facilities. For the price I thought it was excellent value. The location is brilliant as it is right in the centre of Dublin with a nice view of the Liffey. However, the road outside is exceedingly noisy at night (and I used to living in the centre of London), so earplugs might be a good idea to drown out traffic/drunken singing and arguing that takes place on the street on weekends. Perhaps an idea might be for the owners to put up heavy curtains (at the moment there are just the lovely original wooden shutters) which might help to deaden some of the noise leaking in from the street. All in all I was very happy with the apartment, but I'd say it wouldn't be great for light sleepers.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write us a review. I am glad to hear that you found the apartment to have everything you needed. I am sorry to hear that you found the road outside very loud at night. We are currently looking at options to reduce the outside noise so hopefully we will have this issue resolved in the very near future. We hope you will think to use our apartments again in the near future.

The Dublin Holiday apartments are an ideal location for walking to Dublin city center. In addition it had the advantage of being close to public transportation and a modern shopping mall. Several pubs and fine dining choices are within a short distance. The apartment where we stayed, the Devlin, was clean, bright and comfortable. Huge windows let in the light in each room so the apartment was always bright and cheerful. From each room we could see the city scene, people walking, an active bridge and buildings across the river. The door to the apartment building opened onto the street so we were immediately "in the city" when we stepped out the door. After a long trip, we were delighted to have a "starter kit" awaiting us featuring brown bread baked by the land lady. (I asked for and got the recipe.)There was some street noise but that goes with being in the city. We are experienced travelers so we slept with ear plugs and had no problems with th street noise. Any request or question was promptly resolved.

My family stayed at 3 Lower Ormond Quay for 10 days; this truly was the perfect place to stay while exploring Dublin. The apartment is beautiful -- newly renovated, extremely high ceilings, beautiful windows overlooking the River Liffey. Leah and Niall could not have been more helpful or pleasant. The brown bread waiting for us when we arrived was delicious. I cannot recommend it more highly!

When we visit a new place, my husband and I love to stay right in the middle of everything so that we can walk to restaurants, night spots, cultural areas and more. We hit the jackpot with this location. Not only were we able to walk everywhere we wanted to go in the city...our tours outside the city all met within walking distance of "our" apartment! The one and only negative thing that I could say about this location is that it is so close to everything and so conveniently located, that there was some nighttime street noise. We slept with our windows open, so we did expect some noise, but we soon got used to it and would have stayed longer if the property had been available. We loved coming home every night to "our" little apartment with the red door!

Just as the owners mention in their summary, this unit is right on a street, on the first floor, and just across the river from Temple Bar. The reality is that no matter how good the window coverings/shutters, nothing can effectively block the loud conversation of two very drunk people standing outside your bedroom at 3 am. That said, we would try other units in this building; this location is excellent.
