The apartment is a part of our old stone family house. We live just next door, so we are at your service 24 hours a day. From the street there is a great wiev on fort Minceta.
The closest beach Buza 1 is just few minutes walking from the apartment and is a great place to have a drink in the evening. Another beach Buza 2 is 200 m away and the sandy beach Banje is about 400m away from the apartment.
The apartment consists of a bedroom with two beds, living room with sofa bed and satellite TV, kitchen with a fridge, cooker, microwave oven, toaster, coffee machine, and all kitchen supplies.

The apartment is situated in the old town, inside the City walls, in Od Sorte 8 street, just a couple of stairs from the main street , Stradun, Dubrovnik's main artery. It is a few stairs from Ethnographic Museum Rupe.
Shops, restaurants, pubs, banks, exchange offices, post officies, open green market are all in a diametre of 200m.
The local bus and taxi station is also 200m away from the apartment..

This apartment is in the heart of Old Town - we loved staying here! It was away from the noise but a 2 minute walk to the action.
Check-in with simple and the owners next door were very helpful. There were delicious chocolates on the bar when we arrived. Wi-fi access was quick and simple. There was plenty of space for the two of us. The kitchen had everything we needed during our stay. The apartment was extremely clean...the a/C worked great...the water was hot (an issue we had in many places in Croatia)...everything was perfect!
The only downside to this apartment is having to lug our luggage up 50 steps, but that is the price you pay for staying in Old Town Dubrovnik! -

We had the chance of staying here and it was a great experience, especially considering the overall price (20 euros/person/night, in full season). The hosts were very helpful and provided us with everything we needed, including valuable info on trips, locations around Dubrovnik, etc. Not to say that the location of the apartment is wonderful: right in the middle of the old town (but also in a rather quiet area, so there was not much noise and we could rest at night). A 5/5 experience, overall, I will be sure to recommend it to others as well.

We drove down the coast of Croatia and Simovic apartment was definitely the most authentic experience of all the places we stayed. Living amongst the locals in the heart of the old town is like nothing else. We especially loved how the apartment was hidden away among cute laneways and stone staircases.
The apartment was very, very well maintained and more than large enough for a couple. It's completely delf contained, with a kitchenette, TV, living area and bathroom. Our hosts, Stephen and Zorana were super hospitable as were the rest of their family. Whenever we needed assistance, they were always happy to answer our questions. They were an invaluable source of ideas for where to eat, what to see and how to live like the locals.
We were there just after Summer but it was still warm enough to sunbake outside the cute cafes/bars that spill out onto the rocks and the water at the base of the town's walls. I can highly recommend a watching the sun set from oneof these places with a cocktail or cold beer in hand!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Simovic apartment and plan to get back their as soon as we can!Response from sandra ivicevic - 11/15/2010

The apartment was good basic clean accommodation, located in the walled city. The directions were vague and need to be improved, there are some 83 steps which is a challenge with suitcases, but once you're there it's fine if you're fit for steps..

We got in really late on our stay, and we were taken care of really quickly. I can only say that this is the best place to stay in Dubrovnik. Everything about this place is incredible, and speaking to sandra, she really made our stay a pleasant stay. We're going back again this year, and staying here again, because it's the best place to be!!

Everything was handled very efficiently and smoothly from the moment of our initial enquiry. We were met at the airport and escorted to the apartment, which was spotless. We were welcomed also with fresh fruit, wine and chocolates. We could not have been looked after better if we had stayed in a 5-star something-or-other.
