USAA secret gem...wish we found it sooner!

My sister and I enjoyed this apartment very much. Having stayed in Dubrovnik hotels, inside the wall, and even a local hostel in past trips, we much preferred staying here. The price was very reasonable and the apartment was clean, spacious, and offered all the modern amenities. The pictures and description are accurate. We could walk easily to Old Dubrovnik, the beach, small grocery store, shopping, restaurants, nightlife, and to tour islands in the adriatic. The owner lives nearby and made us feel very welcome. We dine out a lot and she gave us suggestions you might not find in a brochure. Our mantra is go where the locals go. We did enjoy breakfast al fresco on the porch balcony as we reviewed the adventures of our night prior or day ahead. No matter how active we were or where we went, it was always wonderful to come back to our apartment in our neighborhood to our own bedroom each! We felt very safe staying there and wish only we had discovered this secret gem sooner.
