I had a great week staying in this lovely apartment in the heart of the old town. It is located just off Gunduli? Square so offers a great location without being too noisy (even though I was there during one of the busiest times) and all the main attractions of the old town are within a 5 minute walk. The beach is slightly further but still only took 7 minutes to get to on foot.
The apartment itself is just as nice at it looks in the pictures. It is tucked away on the first floor and is perfect for a single person or a couple. The air conditioning provided a welcome relief from the heat with wi-fi and Sat TV (not that I used this much) as added bonuses.
The owners were extremely helpful both prior to and during my stay. I was glad I took them up on their offer to pick me up from the airport as I was saw so many people wandering round the old town looking for their accommodation, dragging suitcases in the heat - something I was glad to escape.
While I was there I went kayaking around Lokrum island, a boat trip to the Elfatiti Islands and the city wall tour, all of which I would highly recommend.
I can't wait to return ! -

io e il mio fidanzato siamo stati nell'appartamento Ivka per 7 notti ad agosto e non posso che consigliarlo a chiunque voglia visitare Dubrovnik senza doversi allontanare dalla città vecchia. Infatti l'appartamento è in una posizione strategica, è nel pieno centro della città, in una stradina parallela allo Stradun. E' dotato di aria condizionata, che è essenziale a Dubrovnik (almeno lo è stato per noi ad agosto), una camera da letto accogliente e spaziosa e una piccola cucina. Insomma c'è tutto l'essenziale per un soggiorno. Gentilissima la proprietaria, Ana, che a metà soggiorno ci ha anche fatto trovare della frutta fresca in frigo. Insomma è sicuramente un'ottima soluzione per una vacanza in Croazia. -

My husband and I spent one week in Dubrovnik at apartment Ivka. We had good communication with the owners prior to our trip and during - Ivana responded promptly to all our emails. Check-in was very smooth - the owners were kind enough to pick us up from the bus station and take us to the apartment. We were also greeted with delicious home-made cherry brandy and a bowl full of candies. The apartment was very clean with an abundance of towels and useful tourist information pamphlets. The owners went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and responded to our requests (ex. laundry) in a timely manner. The location was exactly as described - you are right within the Old Town close to all sights. There are many markets in the area as well but expect to pay more within the Old Town for produce. The location is bustling during the day with tourists but slows down and is quiet at night - except for those darn church bells! :) Very much enjoyed our stay.
