Ploce is a quiet residential neighborhood and is very popular among visitors to Dubrovnik. Its position high on a hill ensures some of the most spectacular views of the Adriatic and Old Town below. Old Town can be reached in 10-15 minutes by foot, but the return trip usually takes longer as it involves an uphill climb. Arrived with the wonderful view and welcoming sea breeze! accommodations are beyond par and the conveience of air coditioner/heater was a big help. Great value for great place except having to go to the old town meant having to go down and climb back up 200 flights of stairs. work out, but definitely not for disabled and elderly. there is a path to take without stairs but takes you forever to get there from winding roads. highly recommend taking a cab, we did not listen and ended up carrying suitcase up :( place is beautiful at night, great laundry machine and clean sheets available. Kitchen utensils/cookware out of date but would u rather cook when u can try authentic food from restaurants?! :) besides, ingredients are all in Croatian! we couldnt even buy bacon. I may recommend this place depending on how physically fit you are. Quiet area too :)

Beautiful, spacious and well equipped apartment with stunning views of old Dubrovnik and the adriatic sea.
The many steps to and from the old city became easier each time.
Reservations through das was superb and information regarding restaurants etc in Dubrovnik very helpful. -

I'm glad that I chose to stay in an apartment instead of a hotel. I was really happy with anabella -- great location, views and comfortable. When I return to Croatia in a couple of years, I will definitely stay at anabella again. I've already started recommending anabella to friends and family.

We loved every minute of our 6-day vacation in Dubrovnik and we practically saw everything in Dubrovnik that was worth seeing. However, the nicest thing about our time there was definitely coming back to this beautiful apartment after a long day's fun. It is definitely as advertised - it was clean and comfortable with a view that was practically enough by itself to rent this apartment and it definitely answered all of our needs. We were at first a little bit anxious about the number of stairs mentioned in the advertisement, but it took us only about 10 minutes to get to Old Town or the Banje Beach and we didn't mind taking a cab back when we were too tired to climb the stairs. Also, we always knew that our landlady was there to help us, although we didn't need to resort to her. It was a nice touch that we were also provided with a nice starter's pack and we didn't really need to buy anything to start living there. All in all, the apartment is definitely a great value for money and if - or when - we go back to Dubrovnik, we will definitely stay here again.

Nice and clean apartment with spectacular views of Stari Grad. Highly recommend if you don't mind the 200+ stair climb down and back up (mind you after a long hot day walking around!).

The apartment is very nice, with a good bed, decent kitchen, and a wonderful view. Walking down into town isn't difficult, but we decided taking a cab back was necessary.
We would rent anabella again if we were in Dubrovnik.
