Great location. Close to everything in Old Town. Can get a bit noisy with music from nearby (there was a concert when we were there) bars (Skybar with jug sized cocktails is nearby) and restaurants. But after a day-long walking and playing tourist, one can learn to shut one's ears off. Clean and nice air-cond, shower, and kitchen facilites. Adriana was very good answering emails. Ivan arranged for taxi transfer for us and also waitied at the City gate to receive us. Adriana left us a small gift at the end of our stay. Nice gestures.

Adrianna and Ivan are very nice and met us outside the city walls to take us to the apt. Super convenient location in old town with only one flight of stairs (1st floor)! It's the perfect size for 2 persons with kitchen basics. It's nice and clean and more importantly the beds are comfortable. Just make sure you have the water heater switch on for a hot shower/water! (There's a slight chance that the tank may run out of hot water if a lot is used in one go.)
Supermarkets are close by, little store by pile gate sells eggs and DM for gluten free and organic products!
Would totally recommend staying at adriana Flora if you're looking for a convenient location in old town and it's easy enough to get around to other areas by the buses outside pile gate. -

My mom and I travelled throughout Croatia this summer and loved every minute of our stay at adriana Flora in Dubrovnik! The apartment was fantastic and was in an excellent location - right in the midst of everything! We were there for 5 nights and found it to be perfect! It was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated too! Adriana and Ivan were most helpful as well in recommending lovely local restaurants and things to see and do. Everything they recommended was wonderful and we will definitely be back!

We could not have asked for a better location for our 3 nights in Dubrovnik old town at the end of May. Apt Frieda alpa (next to adriana Flora) is on the first floor of a residential building just steps away from the Rector's Palace (where concerts are held), St Blaise, the Stradun, the morning market, a supermarket, and two restaurants are right on the doorstep, but it's still quiet enough for a good night's sleep (to be woken up by chimes of church bells but that adds to the atmosphere). Best thing was no need to toil up any of Dubrovnik's many steep flights of stairs! We told each other several times a day how lucky we were as we saw other tourists struggling up those stairs with luggage, and we could easily pop back to the apt to leave shopping or have a break during the day.
Adriana always responded quickly during the booking process, which was very smooth and didn't require a deposit. She came to meet us outside Ploce gate and led us to the apt where Ivan was waiting to show us everything. They are a wonderfully gregarious couple, very forthcoming with suggestions for logistics, eateries, etc. We took their recommendation to visit Lokrum island to get away from the huge morning tour groups (cruise ships disgorge up to 4,000 people) and are glad we did. Also had 2 good meals at restaurants they recommended. They also let us check out late and keep our luggage in the apt till our bus departure. And they even gave us a goodie bag with chocolate and candy for our journey!
The apartment is spacious with high ceilings and tall, white, louvred windows, tastefully decorated with nice touches - lavendar sprigs, sweets on the pillow... It had all we needed - washing machine, clothes detergent, soap, shampoo, microwave, kettle, plenty of crockery, extra quilts, wifi that worked etc etc. We never turned on the tv but it has multiple channels.
Highly recommend Frieda alpa and would certainly stay there again. Hvala, Ivan & Adriana! -

The apartment was small ,as expected, within the walled city. The location was superb. Many ,many excellent places to eat within a very short distance. The hosts, Adriana and Ivan are very pleasant and helpful.We felt that we received excellent value for our expense and would definitely stay here again.I rated the ease of check only average as it is a fair walk from the gate to the apartment but you will have that with any place within the walls.

Just returned from a one-week autumn getaway from Dubrovnik. Lovely city also in October - weather sunny, a bit windy but all-in-all nice. The sea was too cold for my taste for swimming. Apartment adrianaFlora was just perfect for the two of us, fantastic location and superb service from always available, helpful,cheerful and most discreet owner of the flat adriana. Thank you ever so much a! Even though the location is right smack in the centre of the old town, noise pollution was minimum, just church bells and average small city life + tourists/locals walking about. The flat felt very safe, it also included well working airconditioning/ heating and shower. No lack of hot water as in some places I've been. I warmly recommend this flat to couples young and old;)

From the moment we arrived in Dubrovnik, we felt that adriana was looking after us. The apartment was very central (in the old city) and had all modern conveniences. We were able to contact adriana if we needed to and she reccommended places to eat (with discount) and local places to visit. A lovely stay

We stayed for 3 nights. We were met by a very friendly adriana. The apartment was spotless and cosy. The location was excellent, just a minute from the main square and no steps which after a long day sightseeing is a godsend! This is the best apartment I have stayed in for a long while. I would throughly recommend it.

My friend and I have just returned having spent 3 nights at the adriana Flora apartment and have had a wonderful stay. We only booked this apartment 3 weeks ago, having cancelled a previous booking due to lack of communication and information. Adriana was so helpful and prompt in replying to e-mails. Adriana met us in the square with a welcome sign and took us to the apartment which is less than 1 minute from The Stradun. The whole place was spotlessly clean and very well equipped, including air conditioning (which was useful with the fabulous weather we had). The central location was superb. We enjoyed sitting in the kitchen area with the windows open listening to the hustle and bustle of the street below. Dubrovnik is a beautiful town to visit and the adriana Flora apartment is the perfect place to be based. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

Stayed for 2 weeks with husband in this lovely apartment - we really did feel like we were at home, the owners made us feel more than welcome & there was everything we needed under one roof. Myself & my husband stayed in adriana Flora between 1-15 September & have to say it was perfect. It is in a superb situation in the glorious Old Town in Dubrovnik - a perfect place to stay to explore Dubrovnik/Croatia. The apartment is clean with all the facilities you require. It has been re-furbished & maintained with alot of thought & alot of love & respect for the surroundings-it is an eco-friendly apartment & guests are asked to respect this which is all the better. All toiletries/cleaning products/basic pantry items etc are there which is a big help. The owners are super-very helpful when it comes to knowledge of Croatia & the surrounding areas of interest. They were always on hand & were a very charming, approachable, proffessional couple - a great addition to a super place to stay. If I had to say there were any negative points, I would perhaps say it is noisy from the street below early in the morning but this was not a major issue. Overall a fantastic place to stay whether it is for 2 nights or 2 weeks - highly recommended.

The room was lovely and the couple that run it were amazing! we were on our honeymoon and our bus from Split ran late and they still saved us our room. :-)
We would definitely recommend this one. It was right in the city center so if you're a light sleeper bring ear plugs, but it was wonderfully near everything and we could run back to the room whenever we got overheated by the sun. -

I stayed in adrianaFlora for one week with a couple of friends and we all agreed it was the loveliest apartment any of us had ever stayed in. It is in the centre of Old Town equipped with washing machine, self contained kitchen and wireless. It is cosy for sure and has alot of charm - falling asleep every night to live guitar and waking up to the church bells - heaven! Ivan and adriana were such graceful and generous hosts, leaving treats on our doorstep!! Friends of our were getting married and they even gave them a wedding present!! Overall staying at adrianaFlora made our week in Dubrovnik extra special. I will never stay anywhere else when visiting Dubrovnik and can't recommend it enough!
