Apartment Valerija is located at Ilina Glavica, a pleasant part of Dubrovnik with only about 15 minutes walking distance from the Old Town Dubrovnik. Our apartment is located in a residence building, but with its own separate entrance. We have our own parking in front of the apartment that our guests can use.

Apartment is situated only 15 minutes walking distance from the Old City in a very quiet area. Next to the apartment there is a bus stop which enables guests to come very easily to the other parts of the town. My wife and I stayed in Valerija's apartment for four days in June 2012. What a wonderful four days. I still do not know what was best - Valerija or the apartment. Valerija is a beautiful, bubbly, friendly lady who met us on arrival wearing a most striking red dress. She brought drinks with her as the weather was very hot over the four days. She is truly a wonderful hostess.
She sat with us and gave us the low down on the essentials of what to see and do in Dubrovnik and offered to organise a trip to Mostar. She then ran through a number of good but inexpensive restaurants that we should try for very good food. All her suggestions proved to be spot on in terms of price, food and ambience. No rush from her to go. We felt we had known her forever. She has subsequently contacted us to ensure we were happy with our stay.
The apartment is in a quiet residential street with parking right outside. It was bright and spotless and lacked nothing. The well equipped kitchen enabled us to have homemade lunches on the balcony despite the heat and we used to sit there in the evenings with a small glass of wine before going out to dinner. The bedroom is large and the bed very comfortable with more than plenty of cupboard space. The washing machine was well used while we were there. The shutters on all the windows were a blessing, keeping the early morning sunlight out allowing a sleep in.
Very nearby was a supermarket with all the essentials for holidaymakers.
I would strongly recommend Valerija's apartment because it is terrific value for money and for the effervescent Valerija who comes with the apartment for free.

My boyfriend and I stayed here last week for 7 days and had a great time. Valerija was very friendly and helpful, we took her up on her offer to collect us from airport and leave us back - very reasonable and meant on the last day even though we had to check out earlier she kept our luggage in her car and met us in the Old Town so we could enjoy our last day. Apartment was perfect size for two, had everything you would want including air conditioning (essential!) and wifi. It was also incredibly clean! The walk to the Old Town was quick and quite pleasant, only around 10 minutes, and it took even less than this to get to the nearest beach. Would fully recommend this place!

My boyfriend & I stayed in the apartment for one night in august.The apartment was very clean,close to the old town w a great porch. The fact that it had a full kitchen was my favorite thing about the apartment.We went to the grocery store right across the street,cooked diner,& ate out on the patio.Valerija is an amazing hostess! We had a rental car we had to drop off & she came to pick us up even when we were an hour early.she showed us around town and even stopped to get us beer on the way to drink while she finished cleaning & giving us recommendations for food & attractions. The day we left we had set a time to pay & leave for the port;however,we then realized we needed to leave earlier.We called her kind of in a panic & she was there in 15 min to give us a ride. Great experience staying w Valerija!

We stayed at Valerija's apartment for 3 nights in august. It is in a residential area and is a 15-20 minute walk into the old town. The apartment is spacious and clean and was good value. There were 3 of us staying there. We arrived in Dubrovnik from Montenegro and a taxi dropped us off outside the entrance to the old town. I telephoned Valerija who came and picked us up, drove us to the apartment along the route we should walk, pointing out the various things we might be interested in, and where supermarket was etc. We had a long chat sat on the balcony with a drink, and Valerija recommended various sites of interest we might want to visit, restaurants she new were good and reasonably priced and was so helpful. Valerija also arranged the taxi to the airport for us, her brother works there, and met us when we were leaving. Overall I would certainly stay there again and cannot recommend Valerija herself highly enough, nothing was too much trouble.

I stayed in this apartment with my friends. I had a very good time and experience as the landlady was extremely friendly and helpful.
The apartment is very clean, air-conditioned and well located. The Old Town of Dubrovnik is close and we did not need any transportation, instead we walked there, at the same time enjoying this lovely city.
Furthermore, in my opinion the big advantage was to have all necessary cutlery, pots, pans etc. so we could easily cook.
I would strongly recommend this apartment! -

Apart from being amazed by Dubrovnik cultural heritage, local atmosphere, clear sea and delicious food, our extraordinary experience there was fulfilled with wonderful accommodation service provided. I warmly recommend this flat to anyone, considering its closeness to the old town (15 min nice promenade with a beautiful view on the open sea), spacious terrace allowing intimate atmosphere and relaxation, clean rooms and bathroom, kitchen with all appliances at your disposal, and very useful air-conditioning.
I would like to emphasize kindness of the land-owner, her warm welcoming, information, advices, and availability in all circumstances. I would evaluate the ratio between service/accommodation provided and money invested with more than a+. Thank you Valerija! -

I came to Dubrovnik on vacation with friends from home and we stayed at Valerija's apartment. Knowing that Dubrovnik is a bit more expensive than the rest of Croatia, my friends and I were happy to have a great deal on accommodation. The flat was so clean and had everything we needed to cook our own meals. I generally don't write reviews about places I stayed in, but this was just out of the ordinary and I already recommended this place to friends of mine. Will definitely stay there again on my next visit to Dubrovnik.

Starting from warm and friendly check-in up until the check out, staying in this apartment was a very pleasant experience. Very clean and cozy apartment located only 10 minutes walking distance from the old town made our vacation even more enjoyable and I cordially recommend to everyone who is thinking about visiting Dubrovnik to stay there.

Me and my friends stayed in the apartman for a week and we were very satisfied with it. It is situated in a lovely neighborhood, a walkable distance to the old town. It has two nice rooms with comfortable beds and air conditioner, tiny kitchen, equipped with all cooking stuff, and a cosy balcony with a table and chairs, where me and my friends would chill out in the evenings with beer or have breakfast in mornings. In addition, apartman's owner is an extremely nice and friendly woman, ready to help with any matter. Really good choice for vacation in Dubrovnik.

There are no words I can use to describe how great this accommodation was for us.
Apartment is so cool; air condition, beautiful paintings on the walls, huge balcony, comfortable beds and clean bathroom. I am absolutely dazzled by everything.
The owner was so nice too... She offered us with refreshments when we arrived, left her phone number in case we need anything and even took us to airport. Valerija, you are the best!
People, I really warmly recommend this apartment if you want the best for your money. I am sure that my next stay in Dubrovnik will be in the same apartment. No doubt about that :)
