The Sanja apartment is situated at only 5 minutes walking distance from the Old Town of Dubrovnik. The apartment has separate entrance and is situated in the prominent and elite Dubrovnik suburb called Ploce. Just a few steps down (about 400 m) you may want to have a drink in the evening at either of the two luxurious hotel terraces - The Hotel Argentina and its beautiful gardens or The Hotel Excelsior. Ideally situated (shame about the steps but that is Dubrovnik!) we were made very welcome, the apartment had everything we needed, the owner could not have been more helpful, altogether a great apartment and a great holiday. We would definitely come back.

We stayed in the apartment for 3 nights, and was our first visit to Dubrovnik. We absolutely loved it and wish we had stayed for a few more nights! We will defintely be coming back. The apartment was in a great spot, just outside the old town, overlooking the beach, with the view of other islands from our balcony. The apartment was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Dubrovnik itself, is just gorgeous.

My girlfriend and I visited Dubrovnik at the end of July/ beginning of august and after spending a few days in the centre of the old town we moved and went to stay at apartment Sanja.
I spoke with Sanja and she came to pick us up and brought us to her apartment. The apartment was excellent! clean, spacious and equipped with everything we needed! even use of a computer and wireless internet was included!! But more importantly the view from the balcony was incredible!
Sanja was very helpful and welcoming and even suggested things we could do during our stay (since we had seen the old town!) She recommended a beach that we were not aware of and we were glad she did because it turned out to be very beautiful! - also it was much quieter than the well known Banje beach.
I could not recommend this apartment any more highly. We had a fantastic holiday here and would love to return.
To sum up - a beautiful country, a beautiful apartment and an extremely helpful owner. -

The apartment is lovely and furnished really well with tv, stereo internet etc. Location is great and there is a balcony with nice sea view.
The landlady Sanja is really helpful and very friendly. -

My husband, daughter (age 4) and myself stayed at apartment Sanja for our honeymoon a couple of weeks ago. The apartment is spacious, has a well equipt kitchen, lovely big comfortable bed, large corner sofa and large TV and good stereo so all the comforts of home with a lovely sea view. The balcony off the main room is small but has table, chairs and a lounger so fine for eating and relaxing. The bathroom is large with a walk in shower. All clean and Sanja was helpfull. The view of the city is in the distance but is blocked by the next apartment - the sea view is enough though. There are steps up to the apartment but not too many, I dont think steps can be avoided in Dubrovnik. The apartment is above the Excelsior hotel and a very short stroll into the main city walls. I would recommend Dubrovnik and this apartment to anyone who is reasonably fit and able to cope with steps. We had a 4 year old and managed OK.

We were thrilled to find apartment Sanja as comfortable, cheery and beautiful as presented in its web page photos. Every amenity is provided. The view from its private deck is stunning. The apartment is very well located. It is in a quiet neighborhood, about a block and a half from the water and a short walk to old town. Sanja welcomed us warmly and is a delightful person to get to know.

A great place to stay - 10 minutes from the old town, 5 minutes from a sparkling bay for swimming, quiet, glorious views from the balcony and from the bedroom of the bay and the walled city. Sanja was very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended!

Excellent clean and spacious apartment very close to the old town. Great position and Sanja is an excellent host. There are a lot of steps but that is part of the charm of Dubrovnik.

What I liked about my stay in apartment Sanja was, that I felt like a real inhabitant of Dubrovnik, I felt as if I have lived there, among other "Dubrovnik's". The apartment is located in a beautiful part of the city, on a good walking distance to both the old city and the beach. It is a big apartment with a personal touch, not a small anonymous hotel room. It is not
that I hate hotel rooms, but I prefer a more personal touch! The view from the balcony and the sleeping room is really beautiful, the sea and the old city! You have to climb some stairs before you reach the apartment, but I considered it part of the charm, of feeling an inhabitant and not a tourist!
There is a shop nearby for daily grocery's. The apartment it self is light, friendly and neat. The landlady herself is a also very friendly, helpful, well educated and speaks several languages. Sanja thanks for your hospitality, you really made our holiday something unforgettable. Keep in touch! -

We spent about one week in Dubrovnik in October 2010. We stayed at apartment Sanja and had a fantastic experience overall. We were greeted by the owner even though it was very late when we arrived. She gave us everything that was needed as well as ideas of excursions and visits. The flat was really very clean, cheerfully decorated but most of all, really comfortable: balcony with loungers and table at which to have your breakfast looking out onto the ocean; a long sofa on which two people can take a nap; a fully equipped kitchen in which to make meals if you choose to stay in; and a really large and comfortable bed in which to get that much needed rest! It is a very quiet area but about 5 min from a small beach, another few minutes from the old town. Absolutely value for money!
