Hedera A4 is located in the quiet neighborhood of Lapad peninsula. It is just above Uvala Lapad - area with many restaurants, bars, hotels and beaches. Also, diving center, jet ski rent and other water sports are all under 10 minutes walking distace. There is a direct bus line to the Dubrovnik Old Town, bus number 4, which goes every 10-15 minutes whole day.

We had originally booked a different unit that was closer to the old town, but apparently there was a mix up and they moved us to this unit in the Lapad area. It looks exactly like the pictures on Trip advisor and the hot tub is a great bonus. The unit is up on a hill and it is 160 steps up from the beach... I counted :). Plus it is 70 Kunas to take a cab to Old Town. We did it several times and that was always the fare.
The owners provided a cell phone for our use, which was neat and we arranged to have them drive us to and from the airport for 30 Euro each way, which seemed reasonable. Better than trying to figure out how to get there on a bus.
The only downside was that there was construction at 3 apartments surrounding the unit, hopefully they will be done soon, but it was loud from 8am to 4pm each day.
