Apartment Frape is a one bedroom duplex apartment situated on the ground and first floor of a house in the center of the old city of Dubrovnik. It is located in the flat part of the old city and makes it ideal for those who do not prefer climbing many steps.
This apartment has been recently refurbished and with the size of 35 m2 offers a perfect accommodation for up to 3 guests (1 can sleep on a pullout bed in the living room).
Apartment Frape is ideally located in the center of the old city of Dubrovnik just a few steps from Stradun.
The nearest beach is approximately 10 minutes walk away (Banje beach - East West beach club) and a supermarket is 5 minutes walk away as well as the farmers market where you can get fresh fruit and vegetables every morning. There are numerous bar and restaurants, galleries and museums only minutes away.
Please note that the Old City of Dubrovnik is a pedestrian zone and it might be difficult to find a parking space if you are coming by car.

my friend and i stayed in dubrovnik for 4 nights and apartment frape was the ideal place to stay. it was centrally located, with not too many steps to go up to and right next to the Stradun which is the heart of the town.
the apartment is small but cosy.it's ideal for a group of friends or a couple, especially for those who dont have many days to spare and want to be in the thick of it all.
there are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops nearby.
Nikoleta, who takes care of the apartment was very friendly and helpful. she gave us a lot of use tips of where to go.
i would definitely go back and stay at aparatment frape when i'm next back in dubrovnik -

I booked this apartment for my friends when we all travelled from Ireland for my wedding. My friends are 2 older men who are not au fait with computers, so I am doing this review for them and because I have seen the apartment first hand.
The apartment is very fresh, neat and tidy. It appears bigger in the photos than in reality, and though quite small, it is ideal for 2 people. The best feature of apartment Frape is the location. It is literally 20 seconds off the main street in the gorgeous Old Town and there are no steps at all! The front door opens straight into the living room/kitchen. The bedroom is upstairs, so it is still very private.
This apartment was perfect for my 2 older wedding guests, as 1 of them in particular has walking difficulties. Staying in this apartment meant that he was able to get around the Old Town independently and could go back to his apartment easily.
Both of them told me they really enjoyed their stay there and that it suited them perfectly.
I booked the apartment for them and found the owners very easy to deal with and very friendly on arrival. In fact, we also booked the lovely apartment Veni next door, which they also own, for other members of our group. Our friends also found that the owners were very accommodating regarding baggage on the day of departure. This was in October, so it may be more difficult for such arrangements during the busier season.
I would recommend this apartment as most suitable for 2 people and especially for those who want to be in the thick of it, but without having to negotiate the many steps that alot of apartments in the Old Town have.
When I was searching online for accommodation for my friends and family for my wedding,I made a comprehensive list of places to stay in Old Town. I would put apartments Frape and Veni at the top of that list for value,location and friendly service. We will visit Dubrovnik again, hopefully soon, and our first point of contact will be Nikoleta and Vedran! -

In July 2010 I spent a week in Dubrovnik with my girlfriend. We were lucky to stay at apartment Frape and we were really satisfied at the end of the week. Nicoleta and Vedran, Frape owners, are really kind and always ready to help you.
Frape is a two-floor apartment with a kitchen and a small living room at the ground floor, while bedroom and bathroom are upstairs. I think that is perfect for a couple because it's small but cozy and you have everything you need. The strength of Frape is its location,in the centre of Old Dubrovnik, close to a cute tapas restaurant, really good for quick and not expensive meals, and close to markets. You can reach some of the main beaches by foot in 15 minutes, otherwise there are bus stations just outside the old city walls (5 minutes by foot from Frape).
We absolutely recommend Frape because we had a beautiful week and this location really helped us in visiting Dubrovnik, a pearl in the adriatic Sea.

We had a great week in Frape apartment in Dubrovnik Old Town. We were welcomed by the owner Vedram when we first arrived and he offered us a short tour of the best places to eat.
The apartment is in the heart of the old town, right next to the bars, restaurants and cafes and a few short steps from the main street. It is very clean and well decorated with the amenities you expect from a self catering apartment.
This apartment would get 5 stars with a little open space but not many apartments seemed to have this in the old town.
