Perfect location for a superb holiday.

We really enjoyed our stay at Nik's apartment. I don't think you could get a better view of Dubrovnik at that price. The room was spacious and well equipped. The air conditioner was very efficient and quite. There are some steep steps up to the property so not recommended for anyone with mobility issues.But the view more than compensates for the steep climb. One can spend the early evening watching the expensive yachts come and go into the old town while the sun sets. Nik's place is easy walking distance to the old town but is far enough away for it to be a very quite place to stay. We were picked up from the airport by a cab arranged by our host Nik,who could not be more helpful to us, but once you find the place you could easily jump on a bus which stops nearby to take you to other parts of the Dubrovnik area if need be. I would have no hesitation in recommending Niks Studio. We had such an amazing stay we are going back this summer.

We stayed at the Nik the Views apartment for 3 nights last summer. The owner Nik is fantastic and arranged a taxi for us from the airport straight to the apartment. This was really helpful as finding the apartment for the first time could prove a bit tricky as it's located on a narrow stepped passage off the main road within a small residential block (not unusual in Dubrovnik!)
There are quite a few steps to get to and from the apartment, so it definitely wouldn't be suitable if you have mobility issues, but that wasn't a problem for us. The apartment was lovely and clean, well equipped (air-con, TV, washing machine, kitchen & all the utensils you could need etc) with a balcony that has the most amazing views over the bay and to the old town. The balcony has a table and chairs and so we ate breakfast on it every day and enjoyed a drink on it in the evening to make the most of the views!
The apartment is a pleasant 10 minute walk from the old town, along the seafront, passing the city's beach and other hotels. There is also a supermarket only 5 minutes away on the upper main road which is handy.
Nik was very helpful when we arrived and gave us a map and some good restaurant recommendations, as well as letting us know where we could find him if we needed him (in the lovely hotel nearby where he works!)
We had a fantastic time in Dubrovnik - it really is a beautiful place and this is the nicest part of the city to stay outside of the old town (In fact we preferred being able to admire the views of the old town than be stuck staying within it!) The apartment was really good value and we have some lovely memories of the trip and will definitely be staying here again! -

This is a lovely apartment with fantastic views from the balcony. Nice walk into the old town of Dubrovnik. There are lots of steps up to the apartment so you need to be fit, I had just had my leg out of a cast so struggled a bit but not a problem otherwise. I would definately recommend and would stay there again if I went back to Dubrovnik. Dubrovnik is a great place to visit and full of history, also a visit to Cavtat on the boat is a must. Weather was brilliant as well, didnt expect such lovely weather in October
