This was a beautiful home that was very well taken care of in many respects. We loved our time on the beach, riding bikes, sailing and kayaking.
I would love to go back some day soon!

Great home in a very quiet neighborhood with many extras (beach chairs, sandcastle supplies, games, cards…). The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed making dinner for the family every evening.
Charcoal grill was ok- would have preferred a gas grill.
The view from the deck was amazing! At night it is very dark so, be sure to bring an extra flashlight or two to hunt for crabs on the beach.
Unfortunately the pool and tennis courts are not close- so we did not use them at all.
Obx Blue was very attentive to a minor issue we had. They were a pleasure to work with to book the home. -

It is nice house and great location. The house needs some TLC. The rental service was very efficient prior to our stay and kind when I called, so I was very surprised that no one showed up all week for needed repairs.

This is a wonderful location and we always want a pet-friendly home, because our two dogs are part of the family and are better behaved than some people can be! So we appreciate the owners providing this home to all family members. It is in need of some updating, especially in the kitchen and with the furniture, although the mattresses are some of the most comfortable we've found in hotels or rental homes! Overall a great place and we would stay there again.

If one is looking for a quiet destination to vacation, Outer Banks Station at Sanderling #3 is the place to be! The beach home was equipped with all that was needed for a family to enjoy their time together. This was our first vacation in North Carolina---I am sure it will not be our last.

Our stay was simply outstanding despite the fact that the house needs a few minor repairs. The location is simply fabulous! We awoke to the sounds of the waves hitting the beach every morning. The deck provided outstanding views of the dolphins' morning swim, the pelicans and osprey's daily snack as well as a fabulous sunrise. My son found the daily ice-cream truck runs a plus. Neighborhood is serene.
House layout was great. However, having only 2 full bathrooms required patience during shower time. Microwave works better than mine at home.
Would definitely stay in this location again. -

Very well stocked, and with beds made, we could just unpack and unwind. September is the best kept secret in the Outer Banks. This place is a secret I'd like to keep!

We had a wonderful week at this house and hated to leave! The location right on the beach was the very best and you were able to enjoy the ocean right from the decks. The house is remarkably well equipped. I would definely recommend this house.

Loved this house. The little elevator made going in for dinner a little less of a chore. The screened porch was wonderful. Easy access to beach.

When we rented this home in June 2008. We were looking forward to a wonderful vacation. Instead we had to worry about huge stains on the carpet, the refrigerator not working as well as the TV. The home was filthy and this was embarrasing when we asked friends come over.

Thank you for your feedback, and we apologize for your discontent with your stay. Unfortunately we did not hear from you during your stay regarding these problems otherwise we would have been happy to respond to all of these matters. We will report that the refrigerator did have a problem that has since been repaired, and the carpets have been professionally cleaned. We are unaware of any ongoing issues with cable television reception at this home other than an occassional rare outtage from the local cable provider.
