Enjoy a bright and charming decor in living areas on all three levels. Relax in the hot tub on the spacious decks or share a friendly game of Horseshoes or Volleyball on your own private court. The Golden Drake was an average home with wonderful communities ammenities. The home had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our group of nine. The hot tub took three days to heat and there were a few maintenance issues that needed to be addressed such as broken door knobs. The community center was wonderful and the house was a short walk or bike ride to the beach as well as many shops. The bedroom on the lowest level was rather small and tight quarters for the couple who stayed there.

We agree, Schooner Ridge in Duck has wonderful community amenities. We apologize about the door knobs and the hot tub and any inconvenience that may have caused you. I see that this home uses an outside vendor for their hot tub. We hope to see you again this year.

Unkempt, in disrepair, and the mice feces and ant infestations were added bonuses. We looked forward to having a comfortable, relaxing stay in Duck in a lovely home. Instead, we were welcomed by unrideable bicycles, no beach equipment, a dirty home and multiple maintenance needs. For the money we spent, this was certainly not what we expected.

Our housekeeping and maintenance staff did respond in a timely manner and majority of your issues were resolved quickly. Bicycles and beach equipment were rented and delivered the first day of your stay.
