Sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean to the East and blazing sunsets over the sound to the West greet you from all decks of this dune-top Outer Banks vacation home. A short walk in either direction to the white sands of Duck Beach or the gazebo on the Sound provide a taste of the Outer Banks experience.

We offer something for everyone from our little slice of paradise; kickback and relax on our expansive decks or out at the beach, swim at the large pool or play a round of tennis at our Bias Shore community complex, try your hand at crabbing or sip some wine at the covered gazebo on the sound, navigate the kayaks thru surf or a quiet gl...ide on the sound, gaze at the stars from our 6 person hot tub, watch the sunrise with a cup of joe from the Ships Watch, run, walk or bicycle the paved paths to Duck and beyond with its galleries, eateries, and outdoor pavilion, luxuriate in the master suite whirlpool tub, or have a spirited game of basketball, horseshoes, or cornhole game in the large parking area and yard below.

Our family home will seat a crowd, the full service kitchen can feed an army, a TV/DVD in every room. Bedrooms are supplied with premium pillow-top beds. And to save you from hauling a

bunch of stuff from home, we provide the beach and toddler support gear, plus linens and towels. Hope to see you!

  This was our first time to Duck, NC. We weren't right next to the town, but just entering the Duck community. The location was close enough to ride bikes to town though. This beach home is located on the sound side and crossing highway 12 with children to see the ocean would have been difficult had we not brought our own golf cart. There were 10 adults and only 3 children staying here, but on two separate nights, we had to take cold showers. I assume because so many needed showers at the same time. The outside decks and yard could use an update, but the inside was beautifully decorated. Those are the only semi-negatives about the place.
  There are so many positives; the home was fully stocked with dishes and pots and pans. There was plenty of seating for our large group to eat dinners together. Most of the beds are super comfortable. My children hasd to sleep in very hard twin beds though. Some extra pillows left in the closet would be nice. If you sleep with more than one pillow, you will need to bring your own. The place is large enough to spread out on different balconies when you just need some quiet time. The home is basically next door to the community pool and tennis courts where we spent a great deal of time. The home had a lot of extras for a wide range of ages of people staying to enjoy; for example, there was a baby wagon and trike, sand toys, beach chairs, pool noodles, bikes, kayaks, corn hole, horseshoes and plenty of basketballs. There were plenty of games, books and movies in the home as well. We always had plenty to do. The floor plan was perfect for most of us; however, my parents had difficulty with all the stairs. If stairs bother you, consider a beach home with an elevator.
  Élan Vacations were very accommodating to us as well. Upon arrival, we noticed that housekeeping had forgotten to leave towels. We called and the issue was taken care of immediately. We also experienced a leak in the kitchen sink and water flow stopped. This is a wonderful safety feature, but as one needs water, we had to call and this was on the holiday of July 4th. Our problem was remedied very quickly with excellent service. I appreciate how Élan Vacations provides linens and starter supplies. The starter supply of toilet paper actually got us through the entire week without having to use our own. I left my 4 pack as a thank you for such wonderful service.
  I would like to recommend to Élan Vacations that they leave more than one set of keys for guests. We always had to leave a door open when leaving to insure other family members could get back in. There weren't enough keys for all families.
  I regret that we weren't able to stay two weeks. I cried and cried when it was time for us to leave. I truly enjoyed my vacation on the OBX staying at this home in Duck, NC. I would definitely stay in this home again and with Élan Vacations. Thank you to the owner and the realty company for a wonderful stay at this beach home.
