We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pool was a wonderful break from the beach and the sleeping arrangements suited our family well. We had 3 families together and the large open living area was terrific. There was adequate seating for all and we especially enjoyed the 10 bar stools that made for easy meals for all the kids. The Internet was not working when we arrived and it took 3 days to get this resolved after several phone calls to the realty office. I don't consider this a downside to the house as it was the phone company's fault although the response for the realty office could have been better. Overall we would rent this property again next year if available.

This home was lovely, comfortable and very roomy. 8 of us stayed at the house and it could easily accomodate several more. The property's central location was ideal. Not too far from town and equal distance from the bay and the beach. I would definitely recommend this house to others and would stay at Gone with the Wind again! We thoroughly enjoyed OBX and can't wait to come back!

We really loved the layout of the house. The floors were a bit sticky when we got there had to do some cleaning. Asked for a new dish for the microwave, but never got one, but whe the hot tub broke they were there very fast and repaired it promptly.

It was a very nice place. Beds were very comfortable. Did not like that you could not enter house from ground floor/basement. Though the worst part was we could not enjoy hammock or deck furnishings as the spiders were overwhelming. Other than that it was a very nice place.

Location was great but disappointed in the size of the pool and that the game room was very small and not accessible from the main part of the house (misleading from the description on the website).

The house was really nice, but had an ant and spider issue. However we hear that it is the time of year for that. The house was well maintained but could use a very good cleaning. The pool was great, as were the swings and beach accessories. We would come back for sure.

Gone with the Wind is a very nice rental home, located 300 yards to the ocean. The amenities are great and are in perfect working condition. Kitty Hawk Rentals are also a pleasure to deal with.
