Customer service was excellent - courteous, informative, helpful. The house was clean and very comfortable for all 3 generations; there were plenty of dishes, pots, etc.; and the location to the beach was convenient - an quick walk down the road. Evenings spent sitting on the porch was a treat! There was plenty of room for outdoor games, cook-outs, and "hanging out."
Only negative: It was our 1st trip to the outer banks, and we were unaware of the inbound traffic nightmare on Saturday afternoons. Suggest a Friday to Friday rental, or arriving Sunday morning.
We'll definately say in Duck when we visit the outerbanks.

Renting a beach house from Resort Realty was a great experience. Internet site is easy to use all the way around. Great customer service. The home itself was nice. For a home that 'stays' 14 people the kitchen was lacking. The cookware needs replaced.(contacted the realty company about this and they brought over a new pan set which was awsome). Other than that good house, plenty of room, and great decks with plenty of outdoor chairs. Great area of Duck. Nice being so close to the beach. Awsome that it has keyless entry, much easier when people go different directions. Other than the kitchen area(plenty of plates and glasses, just needs better cooking gear), great house.

Great location - about 5 houses from the beach. Good yard for lawn games. Interior has a little bit of wear and tear but is fine for a beach house. Tons of space, the crows nest was nice too. Overall the house was perfect for our large group!

The house was great. The house was clean and neat and had plenty of space. There was plenty of kitchen supplies and plenty of room for storage. The hot tube and pool table were great. The only thing that I would recommend is to put a door on the bathroom in the master bedroom on the upper level. We had a couple of issues with the house your repair crew was out quickly to repair them. We would stay there again!
Roomy house close to the beach

Very nice house with plenty of room for a large or extended family. Very close to the beach (4 or 5 houses away). No view of beach to speak of and can't hear the beach, but very close. Only problem we had was the hot tub didn't stay hot and took a long time to heat up. The porch swing wasn't working either. Furniture on deck could be updated. Other than that, we had a great vacation and would definitely stay here again.

I know it was early in the tourist season, but I feel any house that is rented, should be in excellent condition. This house needs some minor repairs, carpet and floor cleaning, better furniture (sagging couches, thin mattresses, wobbly tables) and appliance updates to be of comparable quality to other places I have rented in the OBX. It could be such a wonderful house with a gorgeous OBX location, but the house needs care.
Very nice economy class home

Nice home in a quiet location. Nice off season rates. I did love the houses design it does have a wonderful ships watch that has a very nice view of the beach. It has a nice large deck which can be very handy if you have a big family. Nice hot tub, pool, and jaccuzi tub. It is located pretty close to the town of duck so you can bike or walk if you like to town. It is about 100 yards to the beach but the walk is worth the savings. The house has some minor flaws but this is to be expected from a rental home. Overall a very comfortable place to stay.
Needs some TLC

The house generally was good and had all of the amenities we wanted, however, it was obvious that no one has checked this house out to make sure it's up to what is listed on the site. The pots and pans were unusable - the teflon coating was peeling off. We complained and new pots were delivered the next day. The pool cues were worn out and didn't work well - new ones came with the pots and pans.
The house was not very clean...needed vacuuming and kitchen floors mopped, counters wiped. Bathrooms were clean. There were cigarette butts all over the deck furniture. The sliding glass doors didn't open all the way due to the warping on the outside of the doors. The living room and den furniture was comfortable but worn out. Same with the bedding...some even had holes with the stuffing coming out!
The location and views were great. It was a short walk to the beach and we could see the ocean from the decks. Although we were told there would not be internet access, we were pleased to find it was available when we arrived.
We were disappointed to pay such a price for a house that hasn't been well-maintained. This was our 4th stay in OBX and our least favorite house due to the lack of maintenance.
Just what our family needed

This home was perfect for the stage our family is in. Close proximity to the beach and access that accommodates baby strollers and wheelchairs. Plenty of room to spread out. A good deal for the money!
I enjoyed my stay at the Outer Banks

The problem was it was hot and the a/c was broken and it took them 2 days to get there. They had to replace the refrigerator while we were there because it was warm. The toilet also was stopped up the entire time. It took 2 calls to get someone out. That was the problems.
