This is the best house we've ever stayed in. It met every possible need of ours--from baby gates on each deck level, ipod speakers to play music, a gorgeous large kitchen table for the family to eat together, and a well stocked kitchen. The landscaping, especially for the Outer Banks, is an anomaly...it is stunning! The location was perfect for us too, as our family does a lot of walking and running along Duck Road...we went shopping, to the playground, Scarborough Fair, and Duck Donuts. We hope to stay at Seaducktion again next year!
This house has everything!

This is our second year at this house as it comes equipped with absolutely everything! (all appliances, every pot and pan you would ever need, soaps, detergents, beach chairs, rafts, games, movies, etc...the list goes on) The heated pool is fantastic! Our families love getting together in this house and always say you will not find a better place to stay in Duck!
Always a pleasure

You will not find a better house to stay in for your vacation in Duck. Everything was beautiful and kept in pristine condition. The owners take pride in their home make a personal phone call to all their renters to make sure their stay is as good as it can be. The heated pool was fantastic! This will be the only house we go to in Duck! Read more

This house was beautiful and in close proximity to all great things in Duck. It was within walking distance to resturants and shopping. Even the outside with it's manicured lawn and well landscaped yard made the experience even that much more enjoyable. The owner really took time to make not only the inside beautiful but the exterior! Looks do mean everything sometimes and this house had it all.

This vacation was absolutely wonderful. The house was perfect, it was pet friendly, and it had everything you could imagine. If we had known, we didn't have to bring any supplies except groceries. It is definitely on our list to rent in the future. Thank you to the family that owns it.
Comfortable and plenty of space!

Seaducktion was a wonderful home that had something for everyone. The teens enjoyed the outside pool as well as the inside pool table and the short walk to the beach. The adults loved the kitchen, outside shower and pool. We also enjoyed the deck views and sounds with our labs. The location was perfect - a short walk to the beach and shops.

We absoulutely loved this house. They had everything that we could possibly want. It was clean, the bedrooms were awesome. the pool, hot tub, and the yard were fabulous.
Last year we left our house a day early because we just couldn't sleep another night on the hard matresses. We thank you so much for the comfort that you gave us. We've been coming to the Outerbanks for 17 yrs and it was the best yet. A real gem !

From the moment we entered, SeaDucktion welcomed us to Duck. The home was beautiful and the perfect size for the families that vacationed with us. The amentities went beyond our expectations - didn't realize that linens were included at no cost until we got there (we had brought our own).

We had a wonderful time at Seaducktion. We were surprised by all of the extras there - from the pool lounger and toys to the beach chairs, cart and umbrella.
Overall, our stay was wonderful. The only negative that we had was that the showers/tubs were not as clean as we would have liked.
First Time in Duck

After a history of vacationing in the Outer Banks when we could wake up to find wild horses in the backyard, we finally bailed on Corolla this year due to the overbuilding and water supply issues. Duck always seemed appealing when we drove through or did some shopping there, and it did not disappoint as a two week destination. It's a very low key village that made it easy to relax, managing to provide all the necessary amenities without seeming overly commercialized.
The house itself is charming. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, hot tub and extensive deck areas. Having the extra refrigerator on the ground floor to keep drinks chilled was a real bonus. Other things about it were a nightmare. Within our first 24 hours there we discovered dog hair and kibble left behind in one bedroom, dirty socks under another bed, a significant accumulation of dust on the wooden floor under a dresser, and a badly mildewed shower curtain. We battled ants in the kitchen for our entire stay. The rental manager was very apologetic about the house condition and gave me a new shower curtain to install. Before leaving I asked to be reimbursed for ant spray and traps; I'm still waiting for the check.
Getting back to the kitchen, it's one of the most frustrating I have ever encountered. There's literally too much stuff very poorly organized, much of it mismatched. It gives the impression that the owners used all the kitchen supplies they no longer wanted in their year-round home to stock this house. Of all the pots and pans, only two had lids. The stove has some unusual features, but no manual was provided. A smoke detector is located so close to the stove that it went off constantly, even with the fan on high.
In addition, every inside door has a one inch gap between its bottom and the floor, which means you might as well leave the door open in terms of soundproofing.
Lastly, I would suggest that the owners store the family portraits; they have a downright creepy effect.
Loved our experience.

Seaduction has everything we need and it's centrally located. We had a great week and wonderful weather. There were however a couple things that were not to our liking. First off we had to wait until nearly 6 PM to get into the house because it wasn't cleaned yet. The cleaning person was on site and it appeared she had just begun the process. This was the 1st time we had this problem and hope it's the last. The second problem was the coffee maker. Apparently a different one had been placed in the home and it was TERRIBLE. The coffee didn't even stay warm and you had to keep nuking it in the microwave. Lastly I don't believe the hot tub had a good chemical mixture. Because of that there was a medical problem for me.

We love this house and all of the ammenities it has. You can tell the owners really care about their home, in that they continue to make improvements/updates to the property every year. We will rent this property next year.
It was an enjoyable week.

We enjoyed our stay. Location to beach was good. Quiet street. House was good. Kitchen was missing some key ingredients (pots, pans, glassware, utensils). Not exactly sure what, but I remember the women saying so. Overall a good stay.
