This is a great summer rental for 2 to 4 adults with a spare bedroom for kids with bunk beds. Lots of room and the garage is very nice to keep the car or bikes and beach gear. The house was clean but a little dusty. We were the first ones in it in 6 months according to the housekeeping card. The screened in porch is great and the other deck was nice but a little small. The pool is a very short walk. The beach was a bit of a hike because there is no public beach access in the town of Duck. This sounds bad but it turns out that this just means there is no where to park a car and go to the beach but there are several places between houses that you can access the beach. This also keeps the beaches less crowded in Duck. All in all I would recommend this rental and will probably use in again.

Came to the Outer banks for a little kayaking and relaxing over the Thanksgiving holidays. The unit is great for a small family. It would have been tough with 6 full adults. Love having the garage to store gear without being it up to the unit. Having the washer and dryer was a plus because you didn't have to leave dirty clothes around or take them back home dirty. lauching area was great to enter the sound for kayaking

The condo was a good size for our family of 5, and it was just ok relative to cleanliness. It was a top unit which was a bit difficult for dragging little ones up and down and suitcases, beach stuff, etc. The main room TV did not work and had to be replaced, which took awhile. We loved the Outer Banks, but if you don't want to drive everywhere find a property closer to the main drag and ocean. There was not easy access to a close beach. Our next stay will be further south, ocean side and where it is not so congested with houses. We'll also rent closer to highlights we want to see and spend time at, without having to drive from the upper Outer Banks.
