Our extended family rented this house the last week of July 2012 and it more than met our needs. Located 1/2 mile north of the village of Duck, it was in an area quiet enough where we could get some sleep at night yet close enough to the action where we could walk to restaurants and bars (such as the excellent Sunset Grille). The beach was 300 feet away and we had very good ocean views from the top deck. As for the house itself, it was clean, well-appointed and very comfortable (especially the beds). The only complaint - a minor one - is the Internet connection is exasperatingly slow. Otherwise I'd give it top grades all around. I would heartily recommend this rental to anyone looking to do a large group at the beach.

Everything positive except need room darkening shades for the TV near the
kitchen. Highly recommended house & location. Obviously well-taken care of. -
