This home has all the elements for a wonderful time at the beach. Stretch out on more than 1500 SF of deck space, or take a dip in the hot tub. The house is conveniently located just a short walk from the beach and beachfront pool, the community recreation center and shopping in Duck. Beachside parking is also available. If you must stay in contact with the office (or if your teenager needs the internet to play games), free wireless internet access is provided. We had rented ADGTH in 2007. One thing we really liked about the house was that there were two sets of bunk beds in one of the downstairs bedrooms. This allowed two sets of boy cousins to share a bedroom, which they really liked. When we rented the house and before we signed the lease agreement, we noted that the lease agreement showed two sets of bunk beds in this bedroom whereas the Southern Shores website showed that this bedroom had one set of twin beds. We asked the Southern Shores representative to confirm the sleeping arrangements in this bedroom; she assured us that it had two sets of bunk beds. Therefore, the boys were very disappointed when the room had only one set of twin beds and they were unable to share the bedroom. This appears to be a material breach of the lease agreement. Otherwise, we really enjoyed the house. Is is very well furnished and well equiped. If you could restore the two sets of bunk beds, it would be a great house.

House was nice very close to shops.( 2 minute walk) A little bit of a walk to the beach but there was a place to park your car if it was too far or too hot. Would have preferred to have a private pool. Pool at the club was little and not many chairs around the pool.
