We spent two weeks in July at this Tuckahoe property with our teenage twins. The property was very convenient with excellent sound and beach access (i.e., private parking lots.) The owners provided two sound kayaks and gear, which we very much enjoyed. The kitchen/dining and living areas on the top floor were comfortable and attractive. We were so happy to be able to bring our small dog along as well.
Most relaxing vacation ever in a very comfortable setting!

Upon arriving we were very excited and went to Southern shores realty. We were very early but they offered us cold drinks and said they would call when it was ready. From the outside I was not impressed but when I went in I was pleasantly surprised. the place was very clean and had every thing we needed. The pictures do not do it justice. The views were awesome and we had the best time. Hated to leave but would definitely return.

Excellent house. The views were spectacular!! Southern Shores was very organized and made opening and closing the house very easy. A few things were worn out in the house but with a few small repairs it would be in great shape. House needs a better baby gate. 1 is to small and 1 is an antique. We would definitely request this house again and or use Southern shores to help find another one.

The service was great, and the staff at Southern Shores was always very friendly. Upon finding we had a problem with the keys to the house, the staff responded very quickly, and an employee arrived within minutes to assist us.
The home itself was very well maintained and clean; the location was perfect, and the amenities were exactly as described. In all, it made for a very relaxing, and hassle-free vacation!

The views of the sound and ocean were great! We had the community sound access pier practically to ourselves and our dogs enjoyed the peaceful neighborhood walks. It was easy to get around in Duck, even on foot or bike. The house was well stocked with beach equipment and kayaks. The Kitchen flooring and bathroom flooring needs updating, but fresh paint and tasteful artwork made the home cheerful overall. Read more

We enjoyed staying at this property b/c of the amazing views and family-friendly amenities. We barbequed on the grill, used the kayaks in the ocean, and relaxed in the hot tub. We enjoyed sunrises and sunsets. The home was comfortable and the kids loved the sea-themed decorations. The sound is a short walk away and the ocean parking was good. Our favorite thing was definitely the views. Our least favorite thing was the service we got from Southern Shores Realty this trip. The house itself--not a problem.

The Sign Of The Seahorse worked out perfect for our family. It made for a great vacation. We enjoy being in Duck and the house is the perfect location. Not only is it close to Duck but being between the sound and the ocean, it makes it easy to go between the two. It had everything we needed and more. Would definitely go back.
