My time in Duck (Horizon Summit) was very relaxing. It was very convenient to the beach access. The area was not over commercialized. We were located on the crest of a hill overlooking the ocean and we had sufficient privacy while staying close to the beach. The house was comfortable and was a good place to relax when not having fun.
The house had a cabin feel to it which I liked.
I could have done without the early departure due to the hurricane, but I guess those are the chances you take. -

We enjoyed the house with it's location (easy walk to the beach) and accommodations. Only two complaints - beds were extremely hard and there was no outside furniture to enjoy the decks. In general the house was very nice but could use an update.

I was very disappointed with this rental,the furniture was tore, the frig didn't keep things cold,a/c filter was clogged, the patio furniture was terrible.
