This ground floor holiday apartment is set in the grounds of the Knapp House estate on the edge of the village of East Anstey, close to the town of Dulverton and sleeps two people in one bedroom. Stapledon Lodge is a ground floor apartment set near to the village of East Anstey, four miles from Dulverton in Devon. This cottage sleeps two people and has one king size double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. The cottage also has an open plan living area with a fitted kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area as well as a shared utility room. To the outside of this cottage there is off road parking for one car and a shared rear patio and garde...n with furniture. In a group with four other apartments, Stapledon Lodge is a perfect romantic base for exploring this part of Devon.

Fuel, power and starter pack of fuel for woodburning stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Ample off road parking. Shared extensive grounds with picnic tables and deckchairs. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 4 miles.

Region: Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Town: East Anstey is a village set in stunning countryside. Just four miles away is the market town of Dulverton. Within the town is the River Barle, which flows under a Grade I listed, 3000 year old clapper bridge. Also on offer in the town are medieval streets, restaurants, pubs, gift shops and tea rooms. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  Ideal country cottage for walking - Devon was lovely and plenty to do and see. Good pub nearby in Dulverton - easy walk on nice day. Weather this year excellent - only summer we had in 2011 - which made the holiday. Lovely coastal walks. Cottage very clean and pretty well stocked.
