Saskatoon, CanadaExcellent B&B - Very accomodating
Left on 10/01/2012 for a stay in July 2012
I can't say enough about how accommodating the hosts are. Very clean, quiet and picturesque. We arrived late with cranky and sick kids and were immediately put at ease with the demeanor and care of the hosts.

We were only too happy to help accommodate your family. We hope that the remainder of your journey was successful. We listened to your needs and have decided to convert the Garry Oak from a room into a suite, converting the existing salon into a bedroom and incorporating the bathroom into an ensuite (accessed privately through the suite- not through the common hallway) and installing a bathtub (instead of a shower). Renovations are underway as we speak. In light of this, we were happy to hear your feedback, because this way, we can work to make our accommodations comfortable for everyone's needs. Best Regards, David and Veronica Haits

After a long day of cycling the Rotary Route we arrived at the Funky Frog and were warmly welcomed by Veronica. She went above and beyond in making our stay there most enjoyable. The garden was a lovely retreat and we enjoyed our breakfast sitting on the deck overlooking the beautiful landscaping.

It was truly a pleasure hosting you. I learned more about the Rotary Route, and was pleased that I could offer you a ride to Maple Bay Marina for your dinner (especially since you had been cycling all day).

We stayed at the Funky Frog B&B; for only 1 night, but it was great. There was lots of food for breakfast, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and decor up to date. No complaints here! Great garden too!

My dog and I really enjoyed our time there with other friends. Veronica is extremely warm and caring. I found the price to be a bit high at $112. a night, but I am not familiar with the 'going rates' on such things. Apart from that, everything was excellent!!

Vancouver IslandWe were made so welcome and comfortable by Veronica, our delight
Left on 07/19/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We rented all the rooms at this B & B for three days in July when our daughter got married in the area. Our reason for picking it was purely because it was so conveniently close to the wedding venue at Bird's Eye Cove Farm. Arriving late on the Tuesday night, we were warmly received and shown to our rooms by Veronica, the super friendly hostess. Everything was as clean and neat as a pin with spacious, beautifully furnished rooms and bathrooms. The large common area was an extra bonus where the delicious breakfasts were served every morning. There was ample comfortable seating where we could all socialize and unwind together.
Members of our group were leaving at different times in the mornings, and Veronica accomodated every request with a smile, serving breakfast to each group when they wanted it. She even packed a breakfast for me and my daughter who had to leave for Victoria early one morning. The garden is lovely, and it is a pity we were too busy to spend more time there or to enjoy the sitting area on the porch. We could not have chosen a better or more peaceful place to stay with our overseas family. It was an oasis of serenity in the frenetic last few days leading up to the wedding. Veronica is an excellent host, and we all agree that our stay there was one great pleasure and positive experience from beginning to end. You cannot make a mistake with this one! -
