Maple Bay Marina is located in the heart of the Cowichan (translated as The Warm Land) region of Vancouver Island just 14km east of the town of Duncan. This area has long been recognized for the high quality year round access to fresh local produce, seafood, and specialty products. Many items are sold from street side vendors and farmers markets along picturesque country roads. In addition, local wineries are quickly gaining a reputation as "Napa North," with their production of award winning wines and vineyards.
Harbour Air and SaltSpring Air provide seaplane service and ease of access direct to Maple Bay Marina from Vancouver. Was excited to try a float home, always dreamed about it. Loved our little spot, very cozy and talk about waterfront living - doesn't get any closer than this! The folks living at Maple Bay Marina were very helpful too - we found some great hiking trails, enjoyed long walks on country roads, the marina restaurant and some farm fresh products. The marina has friendly staff - we had a great time!
