One of 3 villas at Silver Sands owned by property manager Peggy Wall (Chin), Pineapple Cottage is located in this private beach community which is approximately 35 minutes from Montego Bay.
This charming cottage has two air conditioned bedrooms each with with its own full bathroom. The cottage is next door to Pineapple Villa, just a short walk to the beautiful Silver Sands beach; one of the finest in Jamaica. The properties are often rented together for special celebrations mostly weddings.
The cottage has a small plunge pool for cooling off while sunning or relaxing on the private terrace.

We have been going to Silver Sands Estates since 1986 for our winter or spring vacation and began staying in Pineapple One or Pineapple Cottage in 2007 and have been returning to either one of the Villas since 2007. You cannot top this vacation and believe me we have been to Hawaii, Spain, Mexico, England, Aruba, St. Thomas and numerous places in the U.S and this vacation is by far the number one of them all.
Truly, this vacation is by far the best there is. The only vacation you take where you arrive with clean clothes and leave with clean clothes. The staff at Pineapple Cottage, Pinky who prepares excellent meals, Andrii who pays extreme attention to detail in maintaining the cottage's cleanliness,and Richard who is extremely attentive to your every need while at the Villa. I almost forgot to mention Billy Cain and also Ki Ki (Kenroy) Brown and Tony Brown, who are by far the best drivers in Jamaica and stand ready to take you anywhere in Jamaica you choose to visit and provide interesting tales along the way. This by far is a vacation you need to add to your bucket list of things to do. If you've never tried a Villa vacation now is time to make the call to Ms. Peggy Wall, who by far is the best Villa owner I have ever dealt with in renting Villas at Silver Sands. Ms. Peggy stands ready to make your vacation along with her staff a vacation you will remember forever and one you want to repeat over and over again. Hats off to all the ladies of the villa and gentleman - Gwenny, Angelia, Judith, Pinky, Andrii and Richard as well as the drivers Billy Cain, Ki Ki (Kenroy) Brown and Tony Brown. These individuals all go above and beyond to make your Jamaican vacation a memorable one. I could write a book on this vacation. However, I'll just say we thought our vacation at the Pineapple Villas who never be topped but this year they all out did themselves and it was by far one of the most enjoyable and relaxing vacations we'd taken.Response from Peggy Wall (Chin) - 05/16/2013

This was our 6th visit to Pineapple at Silver Sands. We go instant relaxation mode as soon as we get off the plane. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. The food is great, the place is lovely and clean, and the weather is fabulous.

My family has stayed in many vacation homes/villas all over the world in many different locations. Typically we have a group between 8-20 made up of singles, couples and families of all ages. Pineapple Villa exceeded all of our expectations! Not one person in our group could find something they weren't 100% satisfied with! The villa itself was just fabulous! Extremely clean, very spacious, well kept, beautiful furnishings, we never ever felt crowded with so much room having multiple family areas and so much common space! It felt like home from the moment we stepped in the door! It has abundant patio space upstairs and down with seating for everyone. The pool and hot tub are sparkling clean and nice and big. And wow what great ocean views! The villa is in a real cozy gated community with a nice lil bar, restaraunt and store just at the beach which is literally just a short walk out your door. They also have activities such as ping pong, snorkeling, stand up paddle boarding, windsurfing, boogie boarding, etc. right there at the beach! And wow! It is a gorgeous beach with more than enough beach chairs for guests to use. There were even nightly events such as crab races, karaoke, art shows and entertainment in the evenings. Just a great area for singles, couples or families to enjoy as much or as little as you'd like. Everyone is so friendly and we never once felt unwelcome or unsafe. The staff at the villa goes above and beyond! We left leaving teary eyed as if we were leaving family behind. Everything was always clean and tidied and our laundry was washed and folded daily. Our meals were so unbelievable! We had a menu made before arriving and they prepared everything just as we liked or better! We honestly can't find a single negative about Pineapple Villa! It was a vacation unlike no other! We have already booked our return trip and you can count on seeing us back for many return visits in years to come!

We stayed at Pineapple Cottage for Jamaica Jazz and Blues in January and we loved it! We loved the fact that we had access to the internet, the ability to call family in the states and in Jamaica, and those helpful ceiling fans that ward off mosquitoes at nights. We fell in love with the beauty and space Pineapple Cottage offered. Andrea was great. She made sure that we had ample meals, and was good company. Pineapple Cottage was really a home away from home. We are so excited to come back!!

My family and I visited Pineapple Cottage in august and wish we didn't have to leave. We were so happy to have had the pleasure of meeting andrea and enjoying her company and her cooking! Excellent!! The accomodations made us feel like we were at home. Having access to telephones and a computer was an added bonus. We were able to keep in touch with our loved ones back in the states. We hope to visit again in the very near future and can't wait to see andrea again and enjoy the beautiful accomodations.

Our 10 year anniversary was a lifetime experience and it was all because we were able to stay at the villas. The amenities, staff and service we received were all remarkable. The villas were very clean, home-like and comfortable. The beds in Pineapple Two were extremely comfortable!! The only thing we would suggest changing would be the temperature of the hot tub at Pineapple Two, it never would get warm and was often even cold. Overall, we give the villas a 100!

I stayed at Pineapple Villa in april 2011 to attend a wedding. I loved it so much I returned January 2012 and stayed at Pineapple Cottage to celebrate my daughters college graduation. Pauline was great! she made sure all of our needs were taken care of and the food was excellent! I'm planning another trip in 2013. Pauline made us feel so at home we didn't want to leave. Pauline, you are the greatest!!!

Pauline is your greatest asset to us. She is our family now after so many years. We love her so much and are immediately so comfortable once we get there. Your place is beautiful and very well kept up. The beds are so comfortable and the plumbing has been great. It is close to the beach another great plus. Also, love the extra fans you have installed in key areas.

Our family went to Pineapple 2 for the Thanksgiving holiday. We loved the comfort and convenience of the house- it was fantastic! Pauline and Gwendolyn took great care for our dining and comfort - we were totally spoiled. They accomodated every need we had and did it with great pleasure. Two of our family had to work remotely several days, and the internet connection and phone service made that easy and convenient.The beach was easy to get to and our 19 month old grandson had a ball in the poool and at the beach. Our favorite part was the ourside porch where we could "hang out" and spend precious time together in the warmth of Jamaica.

We were celebrating a 50th birthday and brought a large group to Pineapple Villa and Cottage. The accommodations were very comfortable and the staff was wonderful. They pulled off large meals without a hitch, were extremely friendly and made us all feel at home. We didn't want to leave! The owners were also very helpful in making the arrangements and easy to work with. I would highly recommend Pineapple Villa and Cottage and would return without hesitation.

We stayed in Pineapple 1, pineapple cottage and Dukes cottage, everything was wonderful. The staff was excellent, the food was the best. They treated us like family. I will be glad to come back and stay in either of these villas. We were there for my wedding, we had people of all ages, and everyone had the best time. My husband and I really enjoyed our long weekend at Pineapple Cottage. We usually visit Negril, but our time in Silver Sands was a nice change of pace. Pauline was absolutely wonderful - she made sure that we had everything we wanted and her cooking was fabulous. If lobster is in season when you visit, her fresh lobster with garlic butter sauce is top notch! We found the environment very relaxing - it was easy to decompress and forget our cares at least for a few days. I highly recommend Pineapple Cottage - we will return!

I am always wanting to return to Pineapple Cottage. It is tastefully and comfortably decorated, clean and well cared for by a friendly staff. It is our vacation destination of choice because it is there that we are most able to relax, enjoy a beautiful beach, read by the pool, spend time as a family, and enjoy delicious homemade local foods.

My husband & I along with another couple spent 6 days at Pineapple Cottage. The housekeeper was really exceptional. Her cooking was amazing, & our meals were always on time & beautifully presented. She made helpful suggestions & was always smiling & happy to attend to our needs.
The villa was clean & adequately stocked. Our friends loved the fact that internet access was included in the price, as were telephone calls home to family & friends in the us & Canada.
The 2 minor problems we reported were promptly dealt with, & we were actually thanked for bringing these matters to the owners attention (1. a standing fan, as the verandah got very hot in mid afternoon; & 2. the DVD in the living room did not work.)

This is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The comfortable and spacious accommodations are so much nicer than even the best hotel rooms and seemed like they are designed to make it easy for the traveler. Best of all though are the warm and caring housekeeping staff. Pauline took great care of us and fed us like royalty! Of course, the warm Jamaican sun, the lovely Caribbean ocean, and friendly community of Silver Sands all contribute to a perfect vacation spot!
