2 bedroom and 1 bath suites/villas overlooking Honeymoon Island, St. Joseph Sound, and the Gulf of Mexico in Dunedin, Florida. Villa includes a private patio. The villas features 875 square feet, granite counter tops with full size kitchen and ceiling fans throughout. 2 queen size beds and a sofa sleeper (or air mattress). 2 pools (one heated) are available for guests. We have bikes and gas grills available for guest to use. There is wireless internet too.

Coconut Villas of Dunedin is just minutes away from the charming downtown Dunedin. There are many unique shops and restaurants to visit. Dunedin also has a marina with a fishing pier. The Pinellas Trail is close by and is great for bike riding, roller blading, or walking. The villa is just minutes away from Honeymoon Island and Caladesi State Park. You can take the ferry from Honeymoon Island to Caladesi Island. Caladesi Island was voted as America's best beach by Dr. Beach!
There are two pools and 4 tiki huts to relax with a tropical paradise setting. One of the pools is heated during winter season. Enjoy breathtaking open water views and sunsets. You can also enjoy the dolphin and manatee shows right at your back sliding doors.
Coconut Villas is a fisherman's paradise! Fishing Charters and Boat Rentals are available.

I had read all the previous reviews and decided to try something different than our typical hotel stay. Inside very clean and nice but we would expect that for $350 a night when you included tax, cleaning and rate. Also remember this does not include any maid service (bring your own shampoo/soap and kleenex) or clean laundry service and there is a "move out" expectations of bring out all your own garbage or there is an extra $75 charge. Just seems like a lot of "work" buying all your own stuff, taking out the garbage and doing your own towel laundry- really not my idea of a vacation. Did have a nice pool but comparing it to the 2 bedroom suite we stayed in last year at the Holiday Inn on Clearwater Beach for the same price it really was not the relaxing quiet getway we were expecting. Our biggest frustration was the unit was right next to a very busy road so you could not sit our on the deck without seeng cars/buses/trucks/motercycles constantly driving by. This also translated to hearing this all day and all night! We were woken up many times by the sound of a truck or loud car- the last thing we heard before going to bed and the first thing we heard in the morning... Again really not what we envisioned for our relaxing vacation. As soon as we got there I emailed to see what we could do as we were so disappointed but because they were sold out we were unable to change units so be very sure which unit you are in before booking as it can make a huge difference in your experieince. First time reviewing a property but after spending $1400 for 4 nights I really want others to be more informed than we were-

We enjoyed our stay very much. The place was beautiful and the view of the canal was great. We even had a couple of cranes that became our friends. We did have trouble with the wifi but the staff was very responsive to our issues. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. It is a very convenient location. Also you can walk to the beach.

Our stay at the Coconut Villas of Dunedin was one of the most memorable and relaxing vacation experiences. My husband and I are both seasoned global travellers and few places offer this kind of affordable, seaside luxury. We enjoyed our stay so much that we did not want to leave and have every intention of staying again in the future. Our eight year old daughter thoroughly enjoyed playing in the swimming pool and we loved watching the wild dolphins swim right outside our apartment! The service we received from annetta & Sam (property owners) was excellent and they were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It is located just 15 mins drive from Clearwater Beach area including "Winter the Dolphin" and within minutes of Honeymoon Island State Park and less than 1 hour from Busch Gardens. The town of Dunedin itself is lovely and a nice escape from the busier tourist areas. The surrounding beaches are stunning. We loved being so close to nature and being able to watch sunsets from our balcony...was a wonderful retreat for us.
