This charming cottage set in the heart of the Blackdown Hills is a fantastic location for everything from a family vacation to a romantic trip for two. Made from stone with wonderful character beamed ceilings and a hand-made wooden staircase, this charming cottage is surrounded by picture-perfect rolling farmland. Able to sleep up to four people, across one double and one twin room, this lovely cottage makes a great family home-from-home. With use of a hard surface tennis court, and close to the village of Dunkeswell, this property provides a great base for people looking to visit the area.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

We really enjoyed out stay at Beech Cottage. It was clean and comfortable and quiet. The owners were friendly, helpful but not in the least intrusive. I would certainly recommend this cottage for a holiday stay.

I will sum up my holiday in five words..."I cried when I left" Personally, this was the best holiday I have ever had. I needed to relax, relax? I was almost catantonic! Just sitting on the doorstep with Mrs Thorpe's Black labrador cuddled up to me was my idea of Heaven. The cottage was better than my own house!! The location was beautiful and remote. I highly recommend this holiday cottage if you need to get away from the rat race and reflect on how lovely this country is, a million miles from the pressures of life. Go!! book now!! (Save me a fortnight)
