The holiday homes were fabulous and the views were stunning. Maria and her brother are very lovely people and nothing was too much trouble for them. We love Dunmore East and have stayed there many times before, but this was the best. We had two children with us and they are so well catered for by everyone from the restaurants to the taxi drivers. Will be back next year!!! and thanks to all who made our holiday a special one.

Die Seacliff Holiday Homes sind eine gute adresse, um den Südosten Irlands zu entdecken. Sowohl Touren zu den vielen Stränden nach Westen (z.B. Tramore, Copper Coast) wie auch nach Osten (Watertown, Hook, Head Halbinsel), wie auch
nach Waterford,New Roos und Kilkenny) lassen sich erholt machen.
Obwohl die Unterkunft etwas ausserhalb des Zentrums von Dunmore East erhöht auf einer Klippe liegt, lässt sich der schöne und ruhige Ort mit seinen Einrichtungen
(Strände, Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Hafen, Kirchen) zu Fuß gut erreichen.
Wir hatten von unserem Haus einen wundervollen Blick Richtung Hook Head Halbinsel. Nicht alle Wohneinheiten haben direkten Blick zum Meer.
Die Oker-gelb getünchten Reihenhäuser mit Ihren farbigen Türen vermitteln eine warme atmosphäre. Alle Wohnungen haben Kamin und sind komplett für einen Urlaub ausgestattet (z.B. Waschmaschine, Trockner, Spülmaschine, Bügeleisen und Brett, Mikrowelle, Herd - 4 Platten mit Backofen). Auch Innen herrscht trotz der Zweckmäßigkeit eine freundliche und warme atmosphäre. Die Schlafräume sind alle
im ersten Stock untergebracht. Die Holzdielenböden sind gut für die Wohnlichkeit, haben aber aufgrund der mangelnden Lärmdämmung der Decke zum Erdgeschoss
einen Nachteil: Jeder Schritt ist im Erdgeschoss und ggf. in den Nachbarwohnungen zu hören. Man gewöhnt sich mit der Zeit daran...
Ansonsten ist es eine gute Unterkunft mit einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. In Deutschland wird die Vermietung über Der-tour angeboten, der Mitpreis schließt alle Kosten auch für Strom und Wasser, Endreinigung, Wäscheerstausstattung mit ein.
Vor Ort wir die anlage von einem sehr netten, kompetenten und unkomplizierten Ehepaar verwaltet. Die Nähe und anbindung an den benachbarten Golfplatz haben wir als positiv wahrgenommen, auch wenn wir dieses angebot nicht genutzt haben.
Wir kommen gerne wieder. -

We had the best holiday here this year, the location was gr8 really close to the beach and great for kids. The house we stayed in was really lovely, well decorated with everything needed to have a bother free break. The guys who run the place were so lovely they even invited us into their home to watch Katie Taylor take gold.. They had so much time for us even taking time away from a family night out to ensure we were having a good time. We have 2 young children a 5 & 1 year old both had a ball and are already wanting to go back. Can't recommend this place enough the views on the downhill walk to the villiage are something else, if your looking somewhere nice to stay, hassle free with a lovely atmosphere look no further. My kids loved the beach here and we were able to relax for a change and watch them enjoy every minute.. Would stay here again no problem & have already told all my friends & family about it. Lovely places to eat and the chip shop O'Sheas was so good!! There is a gr8 park up the villiage for kids but to be honest the beach is the only place mine wanted to go. Loads of nice bars that welcomed kids too so we could enjoy a glass or two before heading back home for the night.

The location was easy to find and close to the beach. Easy to walk to if you weren't bringing anything heavy like a picnic. It's downhill on the way there which meant lots of moaning on the way back up.
The house itself was lovely. We rented one with an ensuite double, a twin with balcony and a single. Good use of space and plenty of room for the five of us. The whole ground floor was tiled and the main bathroom just inside the front door, both of which were a godsend after sandy days on the beach. The living room/kitchen/dining are open plan but also well laid out. It was well equipped with cutlery delph, clothes horse ironing board, washing machine and dishwasher, micorwave etc. There wasn't anyhting I missed.
There was a small playgroud at the back of the development - small but with good equipment. The rear gardens had a wall partially giving some privacy but was open along the back- which might mean trouble keeping an eye on a runaway toddler. There were picnic tables at the back of each property for eating outside.
Dunmore east itself was a great lcoation- blue flag beach and nice places to eat out. No naff amusement arcades or toursity shops trying to drive you mad with the kids.
