The area encapsulates the essence of Scotland with mountains, lochs and sea lochs combining to create a place of great scenic beauty. lovely welcome on arrival, excelant base for walks, the Islands , castles ,Dunoon is very scenic ,The cabin was great,well maintained garage just up the road that has a good store for suplies.we were a party of 3 adult 1 teenager and 1 dog.

The Lodge was equiped to an excellent standard even down to doggy pooh bags. It was comfortable and being at the side of the mountain the easy access made our holiday even more special. The dogs loved it with all the wildlife smells, couldn't get thier noses out of the den holes. Nice to see the birds visiting on a dialy basis but never caught the theif of the fat balls we put out, think it must have been a clever squirel! Loved our stay would definatly stay there again, what a warm friendly welcome with tea and shortbread great.

We all enjoyed our holiday, seeing the beautiful views and listening and watching the wildlife and nature. Lovely walks too with our dogs. Lodge was well equipped with everything we needed and received a lovely welcome by the owners too. :-)
