Description from the owner
Wild Fig Jam offers a renovated farmhouse on Biddle Road and is situated at the top end of the Margaret River region in the South West and has sweeping views to Geographe Bay. It's the original home of Mr Biddle built in 1930 with generous wrap around verandahs, high ceilings and space to sit and enjoy the views to Geographe Bay. The charm of the old farmhouse has been retained and modernised to make living comfortable and relaxing. The verandah faces the bay and you just need to open the folder doors to create an inside outside lifestyle. Wild Fig Jam is Australiana at its best and although centrally located it's isolated enough on 3 1/2...Read more

Pyeongtaek, South KoreaThe absolute best experience.

We stayed for a week at Wild Fig with myself, my husband, our our two year old daughter. Everything about the stay was phenomenal! The location was utterly perfect, the house was the perfect mixture of comfortable and beautiful, and Jane was extremely hospitable. The week we spent at Wild Fig Jam was by far the the highlight of a wonderful few weeks in australia. I truly hope that we will have the opportunity to visit this lovely place again!

We had a totally magical 9 day stay at Wild Fig Jam. The house is simple but very homely and extremely functional and the owner is kind and responsive making this an ideal base from which to explore the wonderful beaches, wineries and other attractions of the area. The view from the master bedroom (and also the terrace) over the rolling fields to the Ocean is gorgeous, especially in the morning when the sun rises in full view. Highly recommended for families looking for rustic relaxation

This a wonderful place to get away from it all and relax or as a starting point to wander the local beaches, cafes and wineries. Lovely ambience and fantastic views.

Fantastic australian Homestead With Spectacular views in idyllic setting. This house really is a haven and the time spent sitting and eating on the big verandahs feeling the breeze were just some of it's many highlights. Close to all that the Margaret River region has to offer, no shortage of fabulous beaches and restautants to venture to. This house really is a great holiday experience.

Philadelphia, PA5 days was not enough
Left on 12/12/2010 for a stay in November 2010
Rarely do you find a vacation home that really feels like home, except it's probably much nicer and more well laid out than your actual home. The view of the Geographe Bay is spectacular, only periodically eclipsed by the view of marsupials meandering and rosellas fluttering through the backyard. Less than ten minutes to the best beaches of Yalingup, the amenities of Dunsborough and innumerable wineries and olive plantations. Time on the back porch may have been the most precious, though. Above all perhaps, Jane's unrivaled brand of southern hospitality met all our needs. We stayed only 5 days and were very sad to move on.

This is really a Homested, which was excatly what I was hoping it would be.
The highlight would be having cold drinks or breakfeast on the verandah while looking at the very stunning views of the Indian Ocean and Bay while enjoying a country feel. -

What a beautiful place to stay. Australiana with a rustic feel with beautiful views overlooking Geographe Bay. Just sitting on the verandah feeling the breeze and looking at the ocean is part of the charm of staying. The owner is a delight the house reflects her and is a home from home. Ideally located for the Margaret River Region, the wineries and beaches and we were able to walk each morning and buy bread freshly made in wood ovens. A beautiful stay and the kangaroos at dusk just completed it. We will be back .
