PerthComfortable and homely

We loved our stay here - we took a chance as reviews were few and far between but it promised much and the price seemed fair unlike many other stays in the area. We weren't disappointed - two adults and two children were extremely comfortable here and we felt we had everything we could have wanted. As there is no climate control, I would however stick to autumn and Spring as I suspect but cannot confirm, that the very hot and very cold months might prove something of a trial (hence the docking of a star). With climate control however, it would almost certainly command a higher price tag.
Loaction wise - it was perfect for us - very quiet street with a kids park at the end and a beach and the most incredible view. Places charge so much more for so much less than what we had. -

Perth, WATotal relaxation in Old Dunsborough
Left on 01/31/2012 for a stay in December 2011
We had a fantastic week's holiday in this great house in Old Dunsborough. It is a comfortable, simple and pleasantly decorated home - that does feel like a home and is really easy to be in with a family. It has everything you need for a chilled out holiday.
It is within a stone's throw of the beach and easy walking distance along the beach front to the main cafe / shopping strip in Dunsborough and it's a great base for other beaches, wineries, breweries, all the day trip opportunities of the region.
The shady verandah makes it ideal to spend most of the time outside and the whole vibe is relaxing and unpretentious. Selfishly, I actually don't want it to get known as we would like to be able to book in when we want!
The owner was very helpful with enquiries, providing lots of information and the arrangements for the booking were all very efficient and practical.
