An Airidh is pronounced 'An Are-ree', and is Scottish Gaelic meaning 'the shieling' - a small house used by shepherds in the summer.
The cottage was built in 2010, and stands in its own lawned garden in a quiet, undisturbed corner of our croft in the district of Harlosh, north west Skye. The site of the cottage was carefully chosen to make the most of extensive views to the east to the Cuillin and to the west over
