The house is lovely, on the edge of the loch.
The view across the water is beautiful. Even the
storms look fantastic. The sunsets are incredible.
The School House resturant serve really good food
but booking is needed.
Dungaven castle is worth visiting, with spectacular
waterfalls. The downside for us was the limited access
for wheelchair users. Skye is just wonderful.

Weather is all of course and we arrived on a beautiful evening, inspiring family members to send photos via mobile phones to all and sundry. The property also impressed with spacious living rooms and bedrooms. Nice walk into Dunvegan for any shopping. Equally for those inclined an averagely challenging walk from the house to the top of eithe rof MacLeod's Tables. Overall exceeded expectations

If you are looking for a comfortable, relaxing place to stay, with stunning views, this is for you. Lochside is a lovely property, it's position right on the edge of Loch Dunvegan is fabulous and the welcome is warm and friendly. It is perfect peace here and only a short walk into Dunvegan itself. Try the Old School restaurant - it is very good - or, if you want to try one of the best restaurants in the country, The Three Chimneys is only 3 miles away.
