This 2000 square foot, million dollar custom executive Penthouse Suite sleeps up to 12 and sits high atop the 7th floor of a ski-in/ski-out condominium on the slopes of Purgatory Mountain at Durango Mountain Resort. Panoramic views overlooking the Needles Mountains, ski slopes, and the heart of the Durango Mountain Ski Village await you when you arrive at this premier location on the mountain.

Less than 50 yards to the ski lift, the Penthouse includes a fully equipped granite kitchen with eating bar, separate formal dining room, living room with all leather furniture and fold out sleeper, large plasma TV, master bedroom with fireplace... and bathroom with jetted tub, guest bedroom that sleeps 4, an additional bathroom with steam shower, 3 fireplaces and a separate but adjoining large Studio Suite that sleeps up to 4 in a queen murphy bed and a queen sleeper sofa. The studio suite has a living room with fireplace, kitchenette with dining area, separate bath, and private deck with its own panoramic views. The Studio makes a fabulous Master Bedroom Suite or utilize the "sliding wall" in the studio to provide 2 separate queen sleeping areas. This studio suite has direct access to the Penthouse, as well as its own outside entrance, making this combination ideal for multiple families. The Penthouse and studio combined create a luxurious suite that sleeps 10-12 with plenty of room for the entire family to gather, or each can be rented separately to accommodate smaller groups.

Our Penthouse provides all of the amenities that you would expect to find in a custom suite of this size. This is a very private corner unit surrounded by decks for your enjoyment and outdoor entertainment, complete with large private hot tub, built-in outdoor Bar-B-Q grill, and separate deck access from the master bedroom for enjoying that morning cup of coffee or watching the sunset over the mountains. Two additional public hot tubs are available all year around.

During the summer months enjoy the on-site pool and hot tubs, and the family fun center including miniature golf and the super slide located at the opposite end of the building.

October is particularly beautiful with Aspens turning the "Million Dollar Mile" and surrounding mountainsides into a canvas of brilliant gold. Guest of the complex also enjoy access to the residence pool, hot tubs, and exercise facilities located on site. Elevators from the covered parking garage to the penthouse keep you dry and eliminates climbing any stairs.

Historic Downtown Durango is a short 25 minute drive from the slopes, where you will find plenty of fine dining, shopping in quaint boutiques, fly fishing in the Animas River, white water rafting, miles of biking and hiking trails, hunting in the surrounding mountains, and golfing at Hillcrest Golf Course. While in Durango don't miss riding the historic Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, the summer rodeo and motorcycle rally, or visiting the intriguing Anasazi Indian Ruins less than an hour away.
