Our Townhome is exactly 1 mile south (2 minutes drive) of the Durango Mountain ski resort at Purgatory Mountain and 30 minutes from Historic downtown Durango, 12 minutes to the mountain Rockwood station for the Durango Train, and 35 minutes to the main down-town Durango - Silverton Main Station. We are 8 minutes south of Cascade villiage ( much closer to the Ski resort than either Tamarron or Cascade Village condos). Our townhome is 15 minutes North of Tamarron Glacier Bay Golf course, and 20 minutes North of Trimble Hot Springs. Historic Mining town of Silverton is 40 minutes North, and quaint Swiss influenced Ouray approximately 1.15 hours North. Telluride is just under 2 hours North. We are 1 hour from the Durango Airport (DRO), 3.5 hours from Albuquerque (ABQ), 3 Hours from Santa Fe, and 6+ Hours from Denver (longer in snow months).

Our family just loved our stay in Durango. The Condo was well appointed, clean and had all the amenities of home, plus more! We found the Sow's Ear to be the best *** Star Restaurant in all of Durango. The location within the mountains couldn't have been more beautiful this time of year. We were blessed with blankets of Snow covered mountains. A true Winter Wonderland. I would recommend Sunshine and Cody's condo, but I'm afraid I am too selfish and would hate to miss out on it not being available for our next visit. A true diamond resort that Families and Couples alike would enjoy. Durango has always held a special place in our hearts over the years. We have been away for too long and it was a mentioned many times during our stay that we must continue the tradition with our children's children. The Polar Express experience, the sleigh rides, and of course skiing was just as exciting this time as it had been in the past 30 yrs. Durango never loses it's charm. Sunshine and Cody have built a beautiful place for all to enjoy. I'm jealous of their home away from home.

Fyi...if you have a little one, Sunshine and Cody have thought of everything. Porta Crib, Booster Seat, and our little one loved stacking the plastic children's dishes. He was very busy reorganizing those dishes. We didn't have to haul toys from Texas!!! All these amenities make it so easy for traveling. The less you have to pack the better.

This vacation home delivered everything we expected and more! It was beautifully decorated, but not too formal... very comfortable and cozy. When we arrived, it was super clean (which we're picky about!), and we felt very much at home. The kitchen had just been remodeled and was absolutely gorgeous! We love to cook on vacation and found everything we needed at our fingertips. In the bedrooms and bathrooms, the owners have gone the extra mile to provide high-quality beds, linens, towels, etc - as good as any 5-star hotel! The location was awesome... We had amazing views of the mountains, and the property was very well kept. Also, it was just a short 30-minute drive to downtown Durango, where we found many great restaurants and shops. Lastly, the owner, Sunny, was excellent from start to finish. She provided prompt, detailed information when we were booking and was very friendly and personable all throughout the process. It is very apparent that she takes great pride in providing top-notch service to her guests. My husband and I will definitely stay at Silverpick, again! Thanks for everything, Sunny :)
