DurangoFun place to stay for hitting the slopes

The place was very nice it was a great location for a ski vacation. It fits 12 comfortably. A bit expensive for what it has to offer. We have stayed at the pinnicol in the purgatory lodge for the same price and received valet, breakfast, complimentary happy hour, pool and gym access, a ski locker right outside the lodge, and on hand 24 hour service. I would definitely rent this condo again because of the ease of the trip but be sure to leave the condo pretty spotless when you leave, nothing left on counters, in fridge, or in bedrooms you will be charged for extra cleaning.

We were in Durango in august, and were ripped off on another rental, when D.Ski Vacations, saved us. We were without a place to stay late on the first evening, until we called and booked at Elkpoint. Great facilities, and very accomadating agents. Location at the base with outstanding quality. We will come back!!

I would highly recommend this company (Durango Colorado Vacations) as one that is easy to work with, prompt, and they give great service! Love the extra touches and follow up. Lorie and Kelly were a pleasure to work with. The unit was in a great location, STUNNING, and had all the comforts of home. We will definately be returning with the family again.

We have stayed at Elk Point #6 in 2008 and 2010. We love this place! The
condo is great and location is awesome. The condo and everything in it is top
quality. You can not get a better ski in ski out location than this unit. The lift
runs above you as you stand out your back door. You can ski out of your back
door down to the Graduate Lift and ski right back in at the end of the day. The
only downfall we had was no internet connection and minimal access to the hot
tub at the community center. The community center is very close (right out
your back door or front door). However, it was closed the majority of the time
we were there. I think we got to use the hot tub one day and we were there a
full week. We were given access to the new Purgatory Lodge which allowed us
to use their facilities which included the outdoor pool with slide and hot tub. It
is a short walk across the trail. It's not as convenient but was nice to have
since the Elkpoint community center was closed. Overall, this is the place to
stay. Hope you enjoy it! We did!

Stayed at Elkpoint for a long ski in ski out weekend. Booking was a breeze - Durango Colorado Vacations was on top of everything. The home is spacious, 1st class, right next to the lift and a great view. Although my group was small, it would be perfect for a big family or large group. The home had everthing, the multiple fireplaces were awesome, especially in the master bedroom! Driving right into a heated garage was great! The only downside was the snow was so deep and new, we had to cut our own path a short ways to the lift.
