      Nice Family Getaway

Left on 01/10/2011 for a stay in December 2010

My family and I stayed in the Townhouse over Christmas weekend and we were very pleased with the place. It wasn't quite as close to town as we had hoped, but definitely within walking distance if you don't mind a little hike. My mom and I walked the trail along the river, which was great! The house itself is in very good condition, great pictures on the wall. There were a few kitchen utensils we were missing, but that may have just been because we were cooking a complete Christmas meal. There were a lot of rules to follow and consequences ($$$) if they were broken, so we were a little nervous having my 2 year old niece in the house. Luckily we didn't have any problems! It would have been more convenient to have more than one key, seeing as we had 6 people staying in the house, and we did have to call for extra pillows and toilet paper. Overall we were very happy with our stay and for the price over Christmas weekend it was very reasonable. Thank you for sharing your home with us!"

Clean, spacious, nicely decorated townhouse convenient to downtown activities. Owners provide internet and cable TV, washer/dryer, BBQ, all the amenities of home! Also nice orientation book and collection of maps/activities provided. Good communication with both owner and management company. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends!

      Perfect Townhouse in Durango

Left on 04/12/2010 for a stay in September 2008

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Durango, and this was a
perfect place to stay. The owner obviously takes a lot of pride in this
townhouse and it shows -- the furnishings were modern and stylish,
clean and well-maintained. There wasn't a single item that we needed that
wasn't available, and there were even ones we wouldn't have thought of!
Our bed was quite comfortable and there was plenty of closet space, etc.
There's a great balcony with a view of the mountains, perfect for reading
the morning paper or relaxing at the end of a day full of activities. And all
the activities are within easy walking or driving distance--the house is right
at the edge of town, and a great trail starts about 3 blocks away, and
downtown Durango (full of restaurants, shops, cafes) is maybe a 10 minute
walk. A beautiful paved bike path runs for several miles right through town
and is easily accessible (down the hill) from the development. There are
tons of other hiking trails, mountain biking, rafting/kayaking, skiing, Mesa
Verde National Park, the historic train to Silverton (it's also a beautiful
drive), etc. I'd never been to this area before but many friends and family
members had praised it, and I"d have to say it was one of the most beautiful
and pleasure-providing places I've ever been. Even Utah or New Mexico are
relatively close! I would highly recommend Durango as a destination, and
can't imagine any housing option that would be better than this townhouse.

      What a Blast!!

Left on 04/08/2010 for a stay in January 2008

This was so much fun. This townhouse was immaculate and had all the trappings of home. The bedrooms were comfortable, plenty of bathrooms, (and hot water). The view was breathtaking. The Garage was such a blessing, as we are from Florida. The kitchen was great, and saved us a bunch on meals. The location was perfect to enjoy Durango and centrally located to hit all the sites we wanted.

We did Dog Sledding, Skiing, Snowboarding, Hot Springs (very necessary to sooth butts after attempt at snowboarding), Horse Drawn Sleigh ride, The Train, and shopping in downtown Durango.

Greg & Amy were so easy to deal with and helped make the experience affordable and fun. I gladly recommend this townhouse to anyone that wants to just enjoy Durango. It made it so a joy to enjoy the sites and have a home base to recover.

      Wonderful townhome in Beautiful Durango!

Left on 04/08/2010 for a stay in January 2010

Although I was in town for business, staying in this townhome made my trip definitely more of a "pleasure"! The owners have taken great care of the home, and the spacious layout meant I could enjoy the gorgeous kitchen, bedrooms, and living area. I would definitely recommend the home, and the owners were lovely to work with!

Durango had just experienced quite a snow storm, so walking into town was a little challenging, but the drive was short and sweet!

I was also there during Durango's winter festival, so the town was buzzing with excitement and activites...I could even watch fireworks from the living room windows/deck.

If you are heading to the area, you will not be disappointed in this townhome - great expereince with great people!

      Thank you!

      A great place to stay

Left on 04/03/2010 for a stay in November 2009

My wife and I had never been to the Rocky Mtns. Well, we couldn't have picked a better place to stay than Greg & Amy's in Durango. The townhouse was roomy, well appointed and located within a short distance of all city ammeneties. The well layed out kitchen allowed us to eat in instead of having to eat out every night. We loved sitting in the living room and drinking our coffee and watching the sun come up over the mountains.Greg's list of things to do made planing our day trips a snap. Being Smokey Mtn. people, we had no idea what to expect. We were totally blown away. Day trips to Ouray and Silverton took our breath away. Other day trips on the Durango Silverton train and to Telluride were equally rewarding. Mesa Verde gave us a feeling of great connection to the indians who lived here first. Highly recommended.

Left on 03/28/2010 for a stay in February 2010

We loved the townhouse and having rented in the complex before, we knew the location well.

The house itself was very clean, comfortable and well furnished. We would most definitely rent this house again if we were looking for a house in Durango itself

      loved the townhouse; loved Durango

Left on 03/27/2010 for a stay in June 2009

We loved the townhouse. It's well-appointed with great amenities. The kitchen was complete from A-Z; linens and towels were plentiful with the convenient washer and dryer in the garage. Our bed was really comfortable, too. It's a mere 5-minute walk to 'downtown' Durango. And Durango is a great town - wonderful restaurants and fun shops, with an outstanding community center. There's lots to do - right in town - whether you want to hike in the mountains, walk by the river, bike ride or go river rafting. And easy day trips - Ouray, Mesa Verde National Park, etc. The owners were friendly and helpful - aiding us in places to go, eat, and enjoy. And the weather was perfect. We'd recommend this lovely townhouse to everyone with kids or without!
