      Home away from home

Left on 08/18/2011 for a stay in January 2010

My Wife & I arrived at akidogo Guest Lodge after a long haul from London. The check-in process was really quick and was made even more enjoyable with the offer of a thirst quenching cup of tea or any other beverage we felt like... so from the start we felt at home!

From there on, nothing was too much hassle for Butch & Wendy, from arranging tours up to Cosi Bay, Car hire for the duration of our stay. They both did everything in their power to make sure we had an unforgettable stay.

The highlight of our stay would have to be the scrumptous "Braais" for dinner and the daily breakfasts. In the past accomodation establishments which we have stayed in, we have often felt that we are in the way or an inconvenience to the hosts, however at akidogo, Butch & Wendy are natural at what they do.

The close proximity to the ocean, suitable for swimming is also a bonus. There is nothing more refreshing than having a dip in the sea after a sleep-in and a hearty breakfast prepared by Butch & Wendy themselves.

Thank-you for the unforgettable stay and send our love to your family as they also played a big part in making us feel at home

      Regards
      The Krauses

My only choice for maximum comfort, minimum hassle

Left on 08/17/2011 for a stay in July 2011

I book into a'kidogo B&B; every time I'm in Durban, South africa. It's a remarkable place that's earned a reputation based on consistently reliable service and the delightful owners, Butch and Wendy Little are the most hospitable hosts I've met. Working in the media industry I'm often at the centre of media events and I prefer a comfortable refuge that's a home away from home. I also need a fully functioning office set-up so that I can continue being productive whether I'm on a beach holiday with my family or if it's a quick work trip, either way a'kidogo caters for my needs with effortless ease and more than a little flair! All my special requests are accomodated and I know it's all just an e-mail away.

My fondest memories of a'kidogo are of engaging Butch and Wendy about their travel experiences through africa and Europe...we often sit and talk for hours! Their depth of knowledge of current affairs, fauna and flora is so stimulating and I consider myself a fortunate guest to benefit from their wealth of experience in the travel and accomodation industry.

It's not a case of whether I'll be back or not, it's a case of when...
