Durban North is the largest, greenest collection of mid to upmarket suburbia. North Lodge is in one of these classy suburbs - Parkhill. 10 minutes North of Durban city centre and Beaches - This rental is fronted by the R102 (which makes it really easy to find & is a direct (No turns!) route to the city) The property is located a short walk from the city's most exclusive residential real estate. 15 minutes from Airport and Umhlanga & central beaches -one turn only!. N2 Freeway off-ramp exit No 177 is 3.6km. Also Nandi Drive. 5 minutes to all freeway on-ramps. Nearest beach is only 2.6km as the crow flies, but some sort of transport (fortunately we are on the bus route) is advisable. Same applies to restaurants & stores 1.6km by car. Not a resort by any means - good clean safe & central location for an active stay. Parking is free - Business vehicles please inquire.

We spent 2 very good days in the North Lodge Durban. Situated only about 5-10 minutes by car/bus from Durban city, it was calm and relaxing. It was Brad, the very friendly owner, who made our stay there to something special. He told us where to go and were not, showed us restaurants, cafés and nice places and explained us a lot about Sa's life and history. The appartment we had was clean an nice. Hope to come back one day, thank you again, Brad! M+K, Germany

Brad and agnes are friendly hosts - the children all thought Brad was great. My children (15, 12, 7, 7, 5) had the best night's sleep of their tour - rating the beds as sooo comfortable. Mossy spray a must. We were out all day and came back to sleep - so very well priced for our numbers and with easy access to all the sites it suited us down to the ground. The lodge we stayed in is complete but another (which looks larger) is under construction next door (Brad let two of my children sleep there to give us a bit more room). Good, standard accommodation.

We were receiced with the greatest of friendiness and even collected by by the owner after we got lost. What a wonder situated place quite clean a rest nest. No n need to look around for shops plenty around the host might just do the shopping sshopping for you. Belief u me the place is clean that u dont have to worry about ull sleep like a baby just what i needed. I loved that the place was so homely.

My husband and I stayed at the North Lodge during World Cup and were pleasantly surprised with the warm welcome we received from Brad. Nestled into a beautifully landscaped urban hillside, it was easy to forget how close we were to the city of Durban and all the World Cup action. Proximity to a major highway also made for easy escapes to adventures outside the city. We felt very safe during our stay at the lodge and didn't have to worry about leaving the car or valuables behind. We recommended North Lodge to friends passing through Durban during World Cup and look forward to our next visit!
