The only thing that separates The Villa from the ocean is about 150’. And much of that is taken up by the wide manicured lawn! Views, views and more views are what make this cottage so popular. Everywhere you look you see ocean. From the kitchen, the dining room, the living room, the bedrooms, the screened in porch. is there for you as you lay in bed and look out the windows, prepare dinner in the kitchen, while dining or sitting in the comfortable living room. This quintessential Maine coastal cottage is classic, timeless, perfection.
As one of the Ocean Point Cottages, The Villa is part of the Ocean Point Colony... Trust and her guests have access to the “Casino” (the local community center) activities and tennis courts, docking facilities (and beach. Walk to Ocean Point Inn for dinner or enjoy the beach less than a mile away. The enclosed porch is perfect for relaxing, enjoying cocktails or morning coffee and those spectacular views. There is a back deck for alfresco dining and you will find the neighbors a nice blend of friendly enough, without being intrusive. That famous Maine charm!
SO MUCH TO SEE, SO MUCH TO DO!
The Villa is a 115 year old well maintained, summer home located in Ocean Point of East Boothbay, a mere six miles from Boothbay Harbor. It overlooks Linekin Bay to the West and North; the Atlantic Ocean to the South and provides a 180 degree view of the Gulf of Maine from the shore line; only 150 feet away.
In the evening you will enjoy breathtaking sunsets. Walking, jogging and biking along the shore are memorable experiences where the spruce meets the sea. Ocean Point, as it exists today with many of its original 19th century cottages, remains primarily a residential community. Many of the cottages have been with these families for generations. Ocean Point is a favorite for the locals, year round, to walk the point, watch the sunsets and enjoy the visual cacophony of incoming storms. Come, stay awhile.
The original wide-pine floors throughout the house offset the birch wood walls perfectly. The floor to ceiling windows allow light and colors to infuse the rooms of this 115 year ocean cottage. The antique armoire, pot belly wood stove and brick fireplace each add their own element of charm and grace. The galley-style kitchen has a gas stove, microwave, double refrigerator and a dishwasher. The butcher block table is a newer addition, but already feels like it has been there all along! Big sunny windows make this kitchen a delight! The main floor also has a ¾ bathroom with a shower.
The second floor has five charming bedrooms with ocean views through floor to ceiling windows which make waking up a special part of each new day. Three of the bedrooms have Queen Beds, one has a Double Bed and the last bedroom has two Single beds.

WHY BOOK WITH COTTAGE CONNECTION?
Vacation Rentals. Privately Owned. Professionally Managed. Trusted since 1993.
Cottage Connection was one of the first vacation rental companies in the Mid-coast region of Maine. Jeff and Audrey Miller, who own three vacation rental homes themselves had an aha moment when they realized they could not find anyone who ‘got it’ to manage their rentals for them. Since 1993 they have been trusted by homeowners and vacationers to “connect” each family with the perfect cottage for their vacation. As Audrey puts it; “The home they stay in becomes a personality, a part of their lore when a family connects with the right cottage. Whether they want a rustic cabin in the woods or a high-end ocean bungalow, the right setting sets the tone for the entire vacation.” Learn more about how Cottage Connection can help make your vacation perfect!
