This amazing studio for two is located on Sapphire Hill, a quick 5 minute walk to stunning Sapphire Beach - a half mile stretch of soft white sand and turquoise waters...Caribbean Paradise!
Footsteps from the condo, there are two swimming pools to choose from in Sapphire Village.
Between the condo and the beach is a Marina, where there are wave runners to rent, boats to rent, and/or you can catch a day trip to various British Virgin Islands (BVIs)
Walking past the Marina, you will discover Sapphire Beach, where you can pick out your favorite tree for shade, relax, sunbath, snorkel, or rent a kayak or paddle-board.
Speaking of snorkeling, Sapphire Beach has so many varieties of friendly fish that swim right up to you! Snorkel around the reef and discover an underwater paradise!
Red Hook is a $2 Safari Taxi ride away. Here you will find many local bars, clubs, and restaurants, with plenty of culinary delights to eat, and live music to be heard.
At the Red Hook Ferry Terminal, pay $6 per person each way, and catch a wonderful 15 minute cruise over to the neighboring island of St. John, another US virgin Island that has some of the coolest nature trails leading to several immaculate white beaches.

Wowie! What a fantastic time we had here staying in your condo! The view was just breath taking! We took enough pictures to look at every day for at least two years; it was so beautiful. The beach was so pretty. The water was warm and bright blue; and the sand was soft and white just like the clouds in the sky! Thank you very much for putting activities and restaurants in the binder. My husband and I were looking to relax in the warm sun and chose St. Thomas. Having stayed at hotels in the Caribbean we wanted to try something different. We found Tom’s condo and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. The first thing you notice about the condo is that it is CLEAN. The view is awesome and we had breakfast every day on the balcony. The bed was comfy and there was plenty of room to stretch out.
The location is ideal. We were very close to Sapphire Beach, Coral World and Red Hook. Tom had everything we needed for the beach trips. He had beach chairs, towels, a cooler and even a noodle flotation toy (ideal, since I can’t swim)! Parking was free and it was steps away from our front door. The pool was really close and be sure to try the chicken fingers at the Sapphire Grill (yummy!) We also loved the food at the Mexican restaurant in Red Hook.
Also, feel free to travel light when you go. Sapphire Village has a laundry facility, so you can do a load of wash while lounging at the beach. The office has a wide array of books that you can peruse and a pretty good list of DVD rentals for free! The staff was very friendly and gave good advice about getting around town.
Best of all, the beach sand was soft as silk. The water was clear blue and tropical fish swam around us in just 4 feet of water. The iguanas were cute and didn’t mind posing for pictures. We have been to other tropical islands, but this is by far the most beautiful.

We stayed in Tom's condo mid-December for our wedding. Tom was great about giving information and answering my questions before and when we got there. The condo had everything we could ask for. The refrigerator was a little small for our length of stay and we had to wash all the towels because of mildew smell, they must have been put away damp. Although in the humidity it seems like nothing dries very well. The condo supplied towels and chairs for the beach which was very nice! The bed was comfortable (I am kinda picky about what I sleep on) and clean. The shower drain has seen better days, with all the sand that has probably gone down it.
The condo was very close to Red Hook (good night life), but you need a car or have to flag down a taxi to get around. We ended up renting a car to be able to see the island (recommended). We were very close to all our family staying on the East end. Literally they were the next 2 driveways. We didn't spend a lot of time in the room because we were exploring or laying on the beach. We took a sailboat right out of the harbor below us...very convenient!

I am very happy that you two had a great time, for your wedding and honeymoon, during your stay at my condo! I’m delighted that my studio condo had all the amenities you were looking for. It’s great that you made use of the beach towels and chairs, and that you enjoyed the brand new king-size bed.
Since I have never received any complaints regarding towels with a mildew-smell, I was very surprised to hear this for the first time. Since I always maintain the highest standards, if you had notified me and/or my property manager about the towels, the issue would’ve been resolved immediately, by my property manager and cleaning staff. Towels and linens are always laundered and fresh prior to the arrival of each new guest. I take comfort and cleanliness very seriously.
As the kitchen was renovated, an apartment-sized refrigerator was utilized to maximize counter space and still provide refrigerator space, which has usually been more than adequate for vacation stays.
As far as the drain goes, I always inform my guests to make sure they have no sand on themselves prior to showering. Since my condo is very close to the beach, it is inevitable that some sand goes down the drain. Water conservation is also a good practice, but some people prefer to shower at a very high pressure, which will produce a slower drain.
I am delighted that you appreciated the convenient location, with the beach, marina, and nightlife so close by. I’m so glad you had a great vacation. Thank you again for staying!

I was pleasantly suprised about the condo. Usually we stay at resorts so I was nervous about renting a condo. I was pleasantly surprised at how convenient the location was and how clean the condo was. It was safe and had a great view. The owner was very kind and accomidating. He even let us stay later after check out so we had a place to relax before our plane ride since our flight was late in the evening. He left information for us and we really appreciated how kind and easy it was to rent from him. The place was located right by Red Hook where all the nice resturants are and it was right by the beach where you can snorkel. Overall, it was a great experience.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a great get away before we went back to college and that's just what we got. Of course the Virgin Islands are a awesome place to visit. We stayed in Tom's condo the first week of august, we found it to be clean safe and near everything we needed. The view was pretty great too. There's a pool on sight and a terrific beach within walking distance. The condo was equipped with everything we need from beach towels to a clothes iron. We were definitely looking for a great, clean place to stay on a budget and that's just what we got. We came to the Islands happy and we left happier!!! Thanks Tom.

My mom and I stayed at Tom's condo for a week and both felt like it was a great value. Although we wanted to save some money by staying in a condo as opposed to a hotel, we weren't really prepared to sacrifice comfort to save a few bucks. And this place turned out to be perfect. It was clean, efficient and conveniently located -- everything you really need from a vacation rental. The view from the balcony is also a nice bonus! The beach, the marina and the sapphire beach resort office where you can rent a car, catch a cab or book a boat trip to the Bvis (which leaves from the marina right in front of your building) are all within a 5 minute walk from the condo. Tom was very accomodating, provided us with a tonne of information on the island, and even left us a bottle of rum to enjoy when we got there :-) Overall, our trip was enhanced by staying at this condo and we'll definitely be back. We had a wonderful stay at Tom's adorable studio in Sapphire Village. The view from the balcony is beautiful and we loved watching the seas and sky change from dawn to dusk. The studio had everything we needed and wifi access via ADM (paid) was fine.
We really appreciate the quick responsiveness of Tom (and Joy, the property manager) to our queries and requests. That was so important in making our vacation smooth, enjoyable and hassle-free. For example, the king bed was 2 twin beds pushed together, but Tom sent a bed joiner that Joy promptly installed (and she even changed our sheets :-)
The studio's location is great - a pretty, quick stroll to gorgeous Sapphire Beach and very near Red Hook, with restaurants and where ferries to St. John leave.
All in, great value for our wonderful stay!
