Harmony Suite has a private entrance, an incredible ocean view, and a romantic atmosphere unlike any other accommodation on St. Thomas. Sun on the large concrete deck by the 33 foot kidney-shaped pool, or on the 14 x 16 foot wooden deck with hot tub and gas grill just outside the French doors of Harmony Suite. You can hear the waves crashing in TuTu Bay below, with Hans Lollick Island visible beyond the bay. The suite is the only rental on our property, located on the lower level of our home. HarmonySuite is located on Mahogany Run Road (Rt 42), which is a main access road to Mahogany Run Golf Course and Magens Bay. We are on the NorthEast part of the island - near all the popular beaches & ferry dock where you can catch ferries to St. John & the British Virgin Islands.

We had a few days to spend on St. Thomas before meeting friends to go sailing and we were really unsure where to stay / what type of accomodation to select. We kept looking and looking... but kept coming back to the Harmony Suite site. We ended up booking it - which turned out to be a great decision for so many reasons:
Number one, the property itself. The pictures don't lie - it really looks like that! The suite is charming (beautifully decorated), the views are stunning, everything is very well kept up.
Number two, the hosts - Tom and Monica really care that their guests have a great experience. They will spend as much or as little time with you as you like. They strive to be unobtrusive to ensure that all guests have enough privacy, but are very willing to chat and help you with whatever you need.
Number three, the location. It was a great experience being on the north side of the island - away from the periodic madness of Charlotte amalie when the cruise ships come in, but close enough that everything is within a short drive. (Note: in order to make the most of your stay, it's best to rent a car - it's also a lot of fun driving around the island!)
Number four, the independence. We came and went as we pleased. The hot tub and pool (including pool cabana with stereo system) can be used at all hours of the day and night. You can cook your dinner in the suite's small but well-stocked kitchen and dine under the stars or go out on the town.
In summary, we feel like we made the right decision to spend our time at Harmony Suite and would like to spare you the agony of decision-making -- just book it now! You won't regret it! -

My girlfriend and I stayed at Harmony Suites to celebrate our combined 31st birthdays. Unbeknownst to her, we also went to celebrate our engagement. Prior to our stay, I emailed Tom and Monica (the owners) to give me some tips on a romantic secluded beach to propose. I also asked a huge favor for them to get me a bottle of champagne. They went above and beyond expectations and found the exact bottle of champagne I was looking for and had a distributor special order it! Tom was also extremely helpful in providing loads of recommendations for engagement sites. Because it was so beautiful on the deck of Harmony Suites I ended up proposing right there. Tom is a professional photographer and volunteered to take our photos after we got engaged and even printed some high quality shots for us to keep.
The suite comes with anything you could want for an extended stay of luxury and relaxation- fully loaded kitchen, hot tub and pool along with usage of coolers, beach chairs, floats, and even some snorkel fins. The bed was very comfy. The only downsides were the driveway can be tough to manage until you get the hang of it, the suite is located near a main road so you can hear some passing cars while you're relaxing in the hot tub and the suite can be a bit dark at night even with all the lights on. Apart from those minor things, it was an amazing stay.
About the owners Tom and Monica- they were very attentive and went above to make our stay memorable and enjoyable. They were always available but also made sure to keep their distance for privacy. -

My husband and I stayed at Harmony Suite to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary and it was awesome. When we arrived Tom gave us an overview about the island from a beautiful overlook on the way to the suite. Once we arrived at the suite he and Monica showed us all of the great features about their property and we settled right in. The information and suggestions were so helpful through out our entire stay. He told us where the best beach was along with where we could find great places to eat.
The view, pool, decks, hot tub and hammock were great to have all to yourself. Each evening we plugged our ipod into the sound system and relaxed to Jimmy Buffett by the pool.
Inside the suite the select comfort bed was very comfortable. Sheets were soft and the fan along with the air conditioning kept the entire suite cool. Tom brought breakfast to the suite each morning and we enjoyed muffins, fruit and juice. It was such a wonderful way to start each day.
My husband and I have no regrets staying at Harmony Suite and we can not wait for our return. It was a blessing to meet such a lovely Christian couple. They made our trip special and we will never forget it. Before we left Tom captured a the most beautiful photograph of us. We have already framed it and love seeing it in our home. After some advice from a friend we decided to get married on St Thomas. We didnt want to stay in any sort of resort, we were looking to enjoy our time on the island before and after the wedding in private. I didn't have to search too far. I think Harmony Suite was the first or second place that we checked out.
The pictures were pretty much the selling point and we were not disappointed!
The suite is perfect! Away from the hustle and bustle of the island resorts, very comfortable and peaceful! Very private!! We had absolutely no issues with the suite.
Tom and Monica are amazing hosts! Tom gave us great pointers of "must see" places and sights. A nice run down of all the local places to eat. He also pointed us to Lindquist Beach and our minister for our wedding, both which were perfect!! Tom is also an amazing photographer and took our photos for our wedding. Being a hobbyist photographer it was nice to have some chats with him about photography and equipment.
We had some great conversations with Monica about the wedding and families. She is a very nice woman. She even had Tom bring down some homegrown aloe when my wife got extremely sun burned on our wedding day.
Both Tom and Monica completely respect your privacy while you are there. We only saw them a handful of times and not one time were they intrusive.
The hot tub, deck, cabana, hammock and pool are great. A little family of iguanas in the surrounding canopy are great to watch. The breakfast in the morning was perfect for us, something we always looked forward to. Some nice warm muffins, fresh fruit and juice/coffee. Perfect amount of food to start the day out!
The only complaint I have is we didn't have more time! We were in Wedding / Honeymoon mode so we did a lot of things and saw a lot of sites. We would love to make a return to St Thomas in the future for an anniversary and Harmony Suite is definitely where we will stay!!

What a wonderful getaway! Mark and I have longed for this time of solace together. We've spent the last 8 months looking at the moon in different parts of the world, (apart!) On Jan 9th we sat by the pool (at last) together, watching the same full moon & stars! The last time we looked (at the same time) at the same moon, I was in Iraq & Mark in Indianapolis on Skype! We counted the full moons every time until we were back together - This magical place was perfect. What a place to be reunited - from war to a perfect (quiet) place - where life makes perfect sense.

Thank you so much for our wonderful stay at HarmonySuite! It really did feel just like home. We really appreciate all the time you spent showing us around the island & house on our first day. Your recommendations were also great - We loved eating at the Grille at Mahogany Run, and feeding the fish at Coki Beach. Your suite is private and pristine, and the views are amazing! Our favorite parts of the trip were relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings after cooking up some yummy dinner on the grill. We also ended up back at the Hometown convenience store several times - we really loved their bread & pastries. Thanks for making our vacation special - we hope to return again someday!

Thank you so much for sharing HarmonySuite with us. We have enjoyed our stay tremendously! It has been the perfect break from our tough Chicago winter. All of your suggestions were wonderful: The Grille, Coki Beach and snorkeling, St. John and Truck Bay, lunch at Gladys' Cafe in Charlotte amalie. Your home is so perfect! Every bit of detail you have put in shows how much you love this place and care about your guests. We enjoyed talking with you both and wish you great happiness with all of your future adventures!

We stayed for one week mid January 2012 at the Harmony Suite in St. Thomas. The reservation process with the owners went very smooth. They offered to meet us upon our arrival at the airport (we declined as we rented a vehicle and enjoy the sense of adventure). Upon arrival the owner walk as around the property and showed us the Suite. The view is as advertized, beautiful high sweeping vista – this is what attracted us to the Harmony Suite and really the only real high point of the stay.
When we opened the door to the suite an odor of a musty damp smell greeted us. We thought OK let’s open the place up and let it air out. The unit has two very nice French doors which open to the deck and view. Unfortunately there were no screens for the doors and in St. Thomas there are flying bugs and critters roaming about. When we asked about the screens we were told that they were damaged by previous guests and have not been replaced. The lack of natural air ventilation in the Suite made it very uncomfortable. Being forced to keep the doors closed made the Suite very claustrophobic and almost cave like. The bedroom has no dresser so you need to live out of your suitcase. If I wanted this experience I would have gone camping. The bed has a two zone air filled blow-up mattress. It was one of the worst mattresses I have ever slept on. Breakfast is served at 8:30 am. Some advice, make sure you buy your own. A little fresh fruit and sweet rolls if you are lucky. One morning we only received one muffin (for two people). No breakfast was delivered on our last day.
The location of the Harmony Suite is not bad if you rent a vehicle (driving is on the left and the roads are really a trip to navigate). If you are not renting a vehicle don’t stay here unless you plan on never leaving. The driveway is major issue unless two people are in the vehicle. The pictures don’t fool anyone, but the guests sure fooled us. During their stay at HarmonySuite, we had several conversations with them. They told us everything was fine, and they were having a wonderful time. Then - one month later - we receive a negative review. These comments are misleading and exaggerated, and are not worth addressing. Their rating of our level of service as “very good” is contradictory to their review, and concludes the matter. We always encourage feedback from our guests – especially while they are here. If there are any issues or requests, we always do our best to accommodate them, but no complaints or requests were made during their stay. We don’t misrepresent anything about HarmonySuite. Our description is clear and our detailed pictures were taken by Tom himself, a professional photographer. We have over 200 positive reviews and 0 negatives on two other sites where we have been listed for many years. Based on this guest’s rating of our level of service as being “very good” and not one complaint, but only smiles during their stay, we consider this review to be contrived & invalid.

After seeing the pictures online, we wanted to stay at Harmony Suite, but we were unable to get a reservation on the dates that we wanted. We ended up booking somewhere else and we were so disappointed with the other place, that we called up Tom and Monica at Harmony Suites hoping that we could take a look at their place in case we ever came back to St. Thomas. Not only were they accommodating, they invited us to come visit them in their own home and told us everything we needed to know about the island. The best places to eat, the best beaches etc. They even lent us beach chairs to take to the beach. When their guests left, they invited us to spend a day at the suite to enjoy the pool and the magnificent view. We were able to get a taste of the impeccable cleanliness and service that they offer at Harmony Suites. The pool was clean with crystal clear water. The natural stone decor of the one bedroom suite is the perfect romantic hideaway with a magnificent view of the bay. Watching the sunset from the deck high up on the side of the mountain made us want to never leave. The best part is that the whole place was so spotless and clean, which is a sharp contrast from the place we were staying. We are definitely coming back to St. Thomas, and next time, we are looking forward to staying the whole week at Harmony Suites.
